euler if you figure out a way to tank, please inform us. my usual tactics seem to have been cut off at the knees and i've seen some complaining on d3 forums about this. along with that, all my timing tricks for getting easier brackets seem invalidated too. shielded at #9 in daken though, looking forward to a few more lazythors (or at least one)

bleh, #61 in Daken tourney (didn't get any Daken cards from the last one). will hopefully do better in the final Rag tourney, but i'm already annoyed that I've been gradually slipping enough to not make Top 50 in my season 1 bracket. this is getting to be too much work, man

just checking, did we have any people here waiting for open slots in the alliance?

When there's room, I'd love to join, and would be able to chip in now. I'm still pretty low, got two C Storm cards today, which was just perfect...

After 70 minutes, I have 138 points but I'm only at 140... I was really kidding myself into thinking I have a chance at making top 50.

10 pack was disappointing. Cruelest was getting a green hulk when I had 5 already. Really needed black. Oh and I got a bags. Only other three stars was psylocke and Steve Rogers. Eh.

my 10-pack contained a yellow Black Panther and a yellow X-Force Wolvie. I sold everything else.

Lazy Cap's red is really powerful -- possibly the best red ability in the game. Blue OK, yellow bad. He's good.

I just don't have enough of their other cards to matter for a very long time.

Thinking maybe I should go ahead and max hulk to lvl 79. I think pairing him with 141 Punisher would scare off a lot of attackers, even though I don't have enough Anger.

Hmm, you're not in a good spot. I would just wait for more *** cards, Hulk is pretty redundant with Punisher, or start leveling your other *** characters. A 141 Punisher will scare off tons of people just by himself

Two 3* and one 4* covers this week. Lazy Thor changed to my preferred 3/5/5. Hulk and Hood leveled to their current cap. Went for a second OBW, might try out 1/5/5.

I am pre-emptively mourning the Spidey nerf because he can completely shut down a 141 Pun by himself

The Spider-man changes are terrible. The only buff is higher heal without webtiles -- who cares. A 3/5/5 Spidey will act somewhat like a current 2/2/2.

Picked up a hood cover, a new lazy thor, two rags; levelled out hulk and classic mags and hood/lazy thor. Think i'm gonna focus on levelling up/out ragnarok until i get another three star cover; this krakadoom nonsense seems likely to repeat in whatever season 2 is.
High level punisher/hulk/ares plus whatever combo they stick me with plus OGBW means this sentry competition isn't that bad just now; kinda digging the new comic canon accurate, villain perspective storyline (even when the writing is shit).

And I just got a black panther card from a standard pull. Always nice to see that gold cover flash on the screen.

I miss when an event finished and you got your rewards within the next fortnight.

spent the week taking Model 40 to 128. just BARELY got a Lazy Thor from the Lazy Daken tourney, so I took him up to his level max. still thinking hard about just buying Pun's last green cover, but if I could pull 2 Psylockes from the Raga tourney then I could take her to 141. patience patience.

I GUESS I could get on the Rags & put him at 102 but I don't really see that as giving me much of an edge even in the Ragman tourney. I won't use his green or red over Pun's, so why bother?

ah shit, no, even with 2 Psylockes I can only get her to 128. damn.

Just been randomly blowing 500 ISO on standard pulls. Gotten several 2 stars, which I don't need, but I have so much ISO, may be worth it to drop 20k or so. I'd be guaranteed to get at least 4000 ISO back if I got all 1 stars and sold it all back.

eh whyyy, it's so easy to get standard tokens in events/lightning rounds. i have 40-something just sitting in the corner, i try to leave some in the bank as they usually take some time to add the new characters in to the rotation

I get all those, but then I buy some , I have more. I'm just looking to turn the numbers over quicker so I can eventually land some more 3 stars.

Some people on D3 feel that the results from bought tokens are better than reward tokens, though I don't think they've gone as far as tracking their results.

I haven't pulled a gold star from a standard token in a long time now; for a while they were dropping a bunch. luck? or...something else?

3* pulls have only been 2.92% for me, so it's a long ass wait between gold stars

What's your sample size, Leee? I definitely got closer to the sheet values as my inputs went up; currently at 789 tokens.

319. About a hundred pulls ago, I was actually under 1% and then hit a bumper crop of 3* pulls, so yeah, the probabilities converge to ~1/40 in the long(er)-run.

NB I didn't start keeping track from the very beginning, so that may have skewed my "real" numbers.

I'm pretty sure they've tweaked drop rates in the last 6 months so it's probably not a very accurate collection for me anyway, since they added new cards every two weeks. I think they straight up said the rates had changed a week or so ago - interesting that for Heroic and other packs now they actually tell you the % drop rate for each card now, which is shockingly magnanimous for a F2P game
