i still have the CD version of that 7/11 soundtrack, that shit was my jam in high school.

i played 7th Guest with my little sister a few years ago so i could be like "look at what we thought was amazing in the nineties," but i haven't played 11th Hour since it came out. it was FMV, right? i imagine it's aged worse than the first game.

the 7th Guest had even dodgier FMV, half faded and low resolution! but i think both games still had impossible chess puzzles.

yeah but it made them look ~ghostly

i DO remember 11th Hour had a basically impossible puzzle where you had to, like, rearrange furniture. i bought the strategy guide to solve it, and iirc it had a little quote from the creators saying "yeah i think we made this one too hard, sorry about that."

I'm more interested in Ironclad Tactics (from the Spacechem ppl) but for $9 I might just grab it all. Then I can become a Space Hulk Super Amadeus. Gonna wait to see if they get better discounts on the Steam sale though

think I spent about £50 on games under £4 last night, just checking the account now and I don't even know what half of this stuff is. Think I've invested quite heavily in mediocre point and click adventures, as well as in a windows only game (I use a mac, no partition). ffs

Yeh I'm trying to avoid buying those sort of games this time round as they usually turn up in a Humble Bundle a couple of months later on. Which I then buy and never play any of.

actually I've played hardly any of them! like wtf is magic carpet, sounds great though

theme hospital + dungeon keeper are the best of the bunch.

magic carpet was like MINDBLOWING 3D tech at the time, probably looks horrible and ridiculous now
