yeah magnow is great in pve but silly in pvp. I'm delighted when I get to face him; can just ignore him until the end.

I shielded just now at ~800 in the doom tourney, ranked in the low 30s. hope that'll work out. #1 is 1100, #10 close to 1000, def not worth the struggle

Just lost 92 points, having not played a match since about a minute before Euler posted. Fuck this tourney, srsly.

yeah, same for me; i was at #8 in the early evening and am now at #150 and dropping like a stone which is impacting my run for that 5k heroic pack season reward
when they closed the simulator, everybody jumped on this tourney and it imploded.

grinded my way up to #41, shielded, crossing fingers.

my bracket imploded too, I dropped to 90ish from the top 40 last night, but it was a shallow crater; lots of people only hustled a little so I could crest that wave without too much effort

Falcon tourney coming, hoping he's boosted a lot since o/we he'll just be dead weight for most of us at this point

shielded at #3 with a score of 1019, ended up at #12. oh well.

Got to 200 already in Falcon, it hasn't picked up on tanking yet.

on the plus side it was a red psylocke, putting her at 3-3-4, level cap 102, and I already have her at 90 so she'll be of near-immediate use

Tried to grind a little before work, overnight left me in the 100s, but like nearly everyone else, my bracket was hella cray, and my 15 minute push got me into the top 100 and no better. GRR.

magnow can be pretty rough as an opponent if you forget to deny purple and he just rips you to shreds. also hard-to-reach blue protects are maddening.

magnow/patch/x is _so speedy_ in pvp tho. And when I get to run them with panther and use his black to combo with patch's green, it lets me wipe an entire team in no time flat.

oh wait i was talking cmags, not magnow.

yeah, magnow is a loser when played by the AI, typically...

i still use spidey to heal, but cmags is so much more efficient, and i need to get less blue to start mopping up the board, so i stand less chance of being wiped.

Major Spider-man changes coming soon, akin to the Thor changes, according to developer IceIX on the d3 forum. 2* Thor turned out pretty good in my opinion -- less annoying but still very powerful.

Lost connection to their server just as I was about to pull a standard token. Also, 52 points away from my 10- pack. Also, pat midnight now.

I landed the 10-pack earlier today. All 2 stars. Respec'd MagNow and AstWolvie, sold the rest.

I don't think I'm going to get anywhere near the 10 pack.

wish all the two color characters would get a third, even if just a passive third. it's so lame that they are only strong in tile matching on two colors.

hell naw. his powers are lame but vaguely useful at whatever level (making greens, breaking the middle columns)... i'll be using my low-level rag just to give big pun more green to explode people with

well here's the heroic lineup: patch, magnow, thor, im40, stormclassic, oldcap, oldhawk, psylocke
notable lack of healers

he's agreed to be the lamest *** villain after the nerf (although loki gives him a run for it). before the nerf he was brutal. on the other hand, he has tons of hp, and can occasionally be a team player with the right crew, and he's also still pretty strong when buffed in lightening rounds. that said i wouldn't push him much past 40 or so now, just so he's not totally useless in the tourney.

I have him at 53 I think? his levels were cheap for a while. now the cap is in the 70s, and I guess I'll level him before the Bagg, but o/w he seems low on the list.

Patch covers for the current Falcon PVP, FYI.

Also, I'm guessing that Bob is your little 'un, Euler?

-Added in new random rewards for finishing Versus battles. In addition to the normal 70/140 Iso-8 rewards, it is now possible to pull any 1* or 2* character. These Comic Cover rewards are balanced in frequency so that the overall Iso-8 rewards assuming that you sell all covers is equal to the previous rewards in Versus.
- Adjusted odds of 2* characters in the Standard Pack upwards by 20% compared to their earlier odds. These extra odds were taken from the 1* character odds, so 3*+ odds are unaffected.

I wish they would raise the 3 star odds a tiny bit. It's demoralizing to keep pulling and selling stuff you already have.

All of them have a hidden third strong color, EXCEPT Rag. I think it's because he was added the most recently and they changed their mind on how color strengths would work.

nah you can grind for hp with pvp finishes and as progression rewards in pvp and pve both.

what's the deal with this current event? what happens when you get to the target score of 400M?

xp when all players hit 400M together, the next subset of missions opens up, as well are more missions on the main Oscorp hub

i swear there's an algorithm at play here preventing me from spidey that will undoubtedly let up as soon as they nerf him.
