IM40 + spidey is ok but you end up having to choose between healing and recharge
Grey Suit Black Widow is probably the best third for that combo (purple Spidey passive, allows GSBW to recharge her green which is boss)
Torch looks good, basically anyone with a good Green power I'd say

With my current roster my go-to team is Spidey/MagNow/AstWolvie because I like mitigation via stun over eternal heals (plus Spidey heals are stronger if I find myself in a health deficit). I do like Wolvie/OBW tho because of the escalating Espionage damage.

i wouldn't add that 3rd yellow actually. but then i'm a speed player + never had too much use for IM40 anyway. His best combo is with patch red I think, because the moment he drops into stun he also kicked you a bunch of red, so if you time it right patch covers way more tiles in the stun and then his red is utterly ferocious.

most green skills don't require huge AP either, so I really don't see the payout. on the other hand, I could see it for long-play with a HT combo because you need to keep pumping the green to feed his countdowns.

I maxed my first 3* character woo. 12 usable 3* covers this week (although that 5th IM40 yellow was useless -- keep it at 2 in my opinion).

someday I'm gonna max Bagman and see if I can make him at all useful

they'll make all these characters forced partners on one tourney or another so maxing everybody is ultimately the goal i guess

btw if bnw doesn't want to play this anymore, my son would happily join our alliance. he plays every day! would get us a little closer to actually getting a good alliance reward. pretty annoyed that we're gonna miss the blue falcon cover for which we'd only need to be in the top 250 for the simulator.

if anybody on here quits playing, it would be nice of them to bow out of the alliance as we can't kick anyone as we're dumbass anarchists who have given up veto power

Don't feel too bad, there's a lot of back-and-forth on that thread; I think it boils down to the roster you'll run him with, how important the green is to you, his higher HP, etc.

Same, all I got for my pains was a standard token and an eff-you piddling amount of ISO.

last second push got me top 50 in the simulator, two falcon covers, yippie!

Trying hard to grind back into the top 50 on the Doom tourney but man the AI is getting all the 'luck'. Just watched an entry level Doomie, a lvl 30 OBW and a lvl 25 1* Storm take out my lvl 45 Doomie/maxed AstWolvie/maxed skinny Thor and finish on virtually full HP. Just cascade after cascade after trigger after trigger after cascade. That's happened all day today, I haven't managed to put together 2 consecutive wins irrespective what team I run.

my doctors orders bracket is sorta nuts. #10 is at 946. gonna be tough to stay in the top 50, plus my mmr started rising again so i'm facing lots of patches against 141s.

same here, i was shocked the Top 10 got so high in my bracket with all the events going on at the same time. #10 for me is 1015 pts! annnd I dropped 150 points on waking up this morning, looks like a Falcon card just isn't happening for me

#10 is "only" 974 in my bracket. Crazy numbers. On the plus side my last battle let me max out Ares and the next tourney will get me the Heroic 10 pack.

Just had a maxed CStorm/Daken combo on Desert taken out by low level Patch and lvl 40something Moonstone wtf. This latest update - the one a couple of days ago that puts in the new reward animations - has really screwed with my luck in the game. Every hero has one fight in them, two at a push.

my maxed -5-5 MagNow/5-5-3 Spidey combo has effectively made me invulnerable in every fight I've taken them into in the past 2 weeks

I expect them both to get nerfed pretty heavily

I rarely use magnow I'm pvp anymore. The AI just doesn't know how to play him when I'm asleep.

yeah magnow is great in pve but silly in pvp. I'm delighted when I get to face him; can just ignore him until the end.

I shielded just now at ~800 in the doom tourney, ranked in the low 30s. hope that'll work out. #1 is 1100, #10 close to 1000, def not worth the struggle

Just lost 92 points, having not played a match since about a minute before Euler posted. Fuck this tourney, srsly.

yeah, same for me; i was at #8 in the early evening and am now at #150 and dropping like a stone which is impacting my run for that 5k heroic pack season reward
when they closed the simulator, everybody jumped on this tourney and it imploded.

grinded my way up to #41, shielded, crossing fingers.

my bracket imploded too, I dropped to 90ish from the top 40 last night, but it was a shallow crater; lots of people only hustled a little so I could crest that wave without too much effort

Falcon tourney coming, hoping he's boosted a lot since o/we he'll just be dead weight for most of us at this point

get back to the menu screen, see that I somehow bumped up to #46 anyway

Got to 200 already in Falcon, it hasn't picked up on tanking yet.
