The account did transfer! I had turned off all of the cloud services because I think the current implementation mostly sucks balls and sort of wished I had at least put Find My Shit on there but at the end of the day I now have a retina display and, thanks to diligent backup strategies and general paranoia about keeping personal info on transient devices, I didn't lose any data.

Oh Lazy Thor, you are the laziest. Punisher and GSBW also leveled up. By my count, 11 3* covers this week. Main team is Patch and two of Pun/Thor/OBW.

I ran most of The Hunt as MagNow/OBW/CStorm and it was ridiculous; unless the computer could get off a Sniper Shot 1-shot kill on me, I was basically invulnerable

also can I say that Falcon/Daken is a hilarious team-up and I'm furious that iPad theft cost me the chance to earn some actual Falcon cards

gotta say i've been rolling less with my blue-battery characters to support obw (magnow, im40) and more with just good old fashioned beasts (hulk, pun) and i am having a lot of fun. lvl 115 5/0/5 hulk is so beefy that i wonder if i even need a first red card.

I've started using my 5/1/0 Hulk for the first time in the Season 1 SHIELD Vs. thing, that red does come in handy but it needs to be situational, obviously. Anyway, haven't been attacked very much with my Hulk/Daken/OBW lineup -- just once so far, and I won -- dunno if that's because people don't want to bother against that, or if they're not playing it.

def want to say to people who say five blue cover spidey is "broken": I got beat with him sooooo many times. yeah if I scored a bunch of blue I was set, but most times I don't. maybe with spidey + OBW, but that's off the table when you're stuck with a low level char.

Same here. We're slotted to get 1 Pun cover, right? I stumbled into a very competitive bracket, top 5 probably all over 900, leader and #2 over 1000, top 10 all over 800. Tried a last second push to get there, but just missed. At least it wasn't a feeding frenzy like PVPs usually are in their last hours.

I have ended up at 18 in my bracket and that was over 800 points.

5 blue Spidey + 5 purple MagNow = easy mode
5 blue Spidey + 5 purple/5 red MagNow = ultimate easy mode

i am very very very very very close on that stark salary purchase to max out covers for spidey, big pun and maybe one or two other characters then buy a half dozen open slots... maybe an alliance slot. it's not even about the money as i figure a hundred bucks dropped on this dumb fucking thing would average out to a quarter an hour so the price is fine. it's that it feels like cheating.

I'm confused - #9 in simulator easy, #1 in simulator hard, #38 in simulator total. So I'm in different brackets in different bits of the same tourney...

IME you're only boned if:

- your board is blue AND purple poor and you can't make enough blue matches to slow down the AI's burst damage until your first purple crit
- you're fighting a buffed Bullseye (and even then that's only about a 25% chance of boning because you can usually burst him down with specials and then use purple crits to wipe his protect tiles off the board)

what's a good third for that one? a tank, I guess?

someone with a good green ability - easy pickings (any Wolverine, Thor, Grey Suit Black Widow, Punisher, etc.)
