If we are in a gap for new characters I will save for one rather than buy new slots - sold a Bagman and a ModHawk so I wouldn't be tempted to spend the HP.

How do you guys approach PvP? My team isn't that good so I don't feel like I can just grind it at the last minute. I need to build up a little bit of a point base in the first two days, so I've been playing a little bit after each new day starts. Are you guys waiting?

I tend to wait, though for the last PVP I jumped in right from the beginning; when I checked back in, I saw that the leader had over 1000 points, whereas if the leader when I wait tends to have 600-700, or 800 tops.

So, the issue of when to enter a PVP is a tradeoff: do you want the progression awards (if so, jump in early to build up your totals), or do you want to place well (if so, wait a while)?

i wait until either just under 2 days left, or just under 1 day 12 hrs left, not sure which is better, then grind up to ~500, then play occasionally, mainly retaliations, and then make another push at the end.

I play when I have time, which is hopefully at the end.

can someone approve my alliance request, or do i need to wait until the next event starts?

I would also very much like to join, I just can't really contribute anything as of yet. Will get more time, and better internet, soon.

that tourney was pretty boring, though; SO tired of fighting venom

though I'm gonna miss my level 100+ Torch; a blast of 1300+ at 8 red was NICE

also I'm wondering if I oughta just level my mod storm to 50, given how much they let you use her in these special tourneys

Had to really fight to stay in the Lazy Cap bracket there.

That avalanch of rewards after a long event is so satisfying. Got 2 Cap covers and a ton of HP.

buffed Torch was fun, but yeah, that tourney was a total drag

Hmm, might be worth it: I have mine at 33, and it looks like it'll take 15K ISO to max her out.

she can't survive a big group attack even at max I gather, but o/w she's pretty safe since in any reasonable team she's not #1 in any color

i cant find the post but i remember someone upthread crackin' wise about if we are all posting our rosters from an immaculately curated .xls or if we rewrite them every time. i took it to heart and made a spreadsheet today where i enter the names, levels, rarities and card levels and it makes an ilx-friendly output that includes the max level calculation! sadly not much of a change in my party lately so i'll only post the two notable upgrades

i havent used google docs in so long that i don't remember how to edit it online so if there are any mistakes i will just re-uplaod it tmrw

used the LRs to tank the other day and it worked. The "get to 100 then throw in a tank team" strat hadn't really lowered my difficulty, so I just did it manually, throwing all my nonactive roster into losing fights until they were all dead. I'm back facing more managable opponents -- we'll see how long it lasts.

same thing has worked for me - i think it works off wins/losses, so making the losses happen speeds it up

man, the Hunt AGAIN? well, at least there's that Punisher tourney

for some reason i talked abt this on ALLIANCE CHAT last night instead of ilx, but god does it feel good to finally have a really powered up character of mine as the theme character for a competition. i got to like 750 points last night (!) and only got attacked for 80 of that overnight (3 losses, and one successful defence). plus i am rolling eeeeveeerryyyooonneee i face. tbf i sitll skip anyone with 3 chars @100+ or wahtever because i'm a baby, but still
