My Hulk is 3/1/0. I desperately want to pump so ISO into him, but seems pointless without some black covers.

Wonder if I should go for the Iron Man 40 cover or the C Storm cover -- former would be my second, latter would bring her to 4/4/3.

I could never get behind IM40. Just doesn't fit my style of play though.

Ended up getting the Storm, but since this next PVP offers her yellow covers, might as well try for the IM40s.

I really hate the feeling of losing a hundred places in the final results while you're asleep.

Got x-force wolverine for a daily deal for a 100 hero points. No roster space and no hope that I'll ever see another one ever again.

4 heroic tokens and didn't get SHIT.

I really just want to get all the punisher cards from the hulk progression.

x-force red from a basic token for me. whee.

I'd almost rather have a slew of standards over heroic. I swear I've gotten better pulls from standards. Heroic always gives me wolvie/Thor/cStorm.

same here, but i guess that's what one heroic a week (ish) and 4 standards a day (ish) will do given the stats in the above .xls taught us

With the standards, my expectations are already low enough that I'm not disappointed when I pull a thor/wolvie. Heroic I just have too high of hopes.

so now i have 140-180 mainly for the hulk event. getting destroyed every so often, but some fun nail-biter victories too.

going with patch/spidey/cmags even though i actually think obw is more reliable than mags when unboosted (b/c blue or purp can feed that team but the other needs blue and nothing but) because cmags is just more fun to play, or at least a welcome change of pace (daily rewards gave me my fifth blue).

patch/spidey/panther (required) vs lvl 180 lieutenant/ares/bullseye. i get a really bad run, a few blue but i run out quick, i keep getting starved of anything but green. since i didn't have blue for stunlock i haven't shot patch's green since i can't handle the strike tiles back at me. meanwhile bullseye's protects have knocked my damage down to almost zero and whatever damage i did get, the lt. heals. eventually they get enough ap to fire off ares' red and demolish my team, taking out spidey entirely, and nearly destroying panther. bullseye is still in stunlock, but ares is free at nearly full health. no other options, i fire off patch's green twice in a row, and use panther matches to take him the rest of the way down, with panther getting killed in the process. just patch left, at 15% health or so. bullseye wakes up, and miraculously for three turns straight he takes an env tile match instead of a regular match, so i avoid damage just long enough to down him, leaving me just vs the goon who i mop up reasonably well, and by the time i finish, patch, last man standing, has healed to full health.

that was the most challenging match i've won in a while.

patch seems way too risky to use in that mission, esp. with Ares and his one shot kills. and you have to kill the lieutenant first to stop the heals on top of all that

what team would you recommend?

(just ran another with spidey/obw/panther. it was slooow to complete, but relatively straightforward)

try buffed Thor, or even Ast. Wolvie in place of OBW - maybe someone else with good board clearing like Magneto NOW
Spidey/OBW/Panther sounds pretty safe tho

My new favorite thing to do is stack the critical bonus to 125%. Using MagsNow and do a mad grab for purple. Then I can usually create two critical tiles, or more with some lucky cascades. Also great in oasis levels with Thor's yellow, you can put a bunch of green on the board, then hit oasis to put even more green, and usually get a critical or two.

New update has some little UI changes: buffed characters show the relative character level now, so you don't have to guess how strong they are compared to the other heroes. Also, the unpacking tokens graphic gives you a hint to what class it is (1*, 2* etc.) which seems pretty pointless but it's slightly more amusing

What's the best 2* Thor config? I'm at 4/4/5

i asked forks upthread and he likes 3/5/5 for the insane-o green boost from yellow, and after using it a few times i think i agree

yeah, red got badly nerfed and yellow balanced nicely imo

Definitely possible if you can beat the Black Panther and Punisher missions, just gonna take a lot of grinding

I won both a Black Panther and a Punisher cover from Hulk-tokens. Definitely helped a lot! Now I got a Hulk, but I don't have any room for it. Six days to get some coins, somehow...
