I guess I shouldn't take this extra Purple OBW card I have and move from 4/5/4 to 5/5/3, is what you're saying

You can, but that puts her in support mode only; 5 black means that as strike tiles build up, she can give you an extra 1K of dmg on blue/black/purple matches, which is amazing

I wonder how 5/3/5 would play, esp if paired with Spidey

I'm at 4-3-5, and hope to get another purple; but yeah, the OBW + strike tile combo is hilariously lethal

FYI - there's a bug right now if you get over 30 of a boost, it glitches and tells you have 3

Right now my go-to combo is OBW/Punisher/Daken or AstWolvie

Pun's green helps open up the board and his black is hilarious on story missions when you can get 3+ Molotovs running that constantly put up attack tiles, which are boosted by strike tiles. OBW hamstrings the opponent with purple steals and blue counter increments (with bonus healing to your team) and I'm discovering her Espionage is also hilarious. Daken is great because he generates strike tiles while healing himself and all of his abilities are passive; AstWolvie is great because his red is essentially an instakill and his strike tiles are twice as powerful as Daken's.

hope to get one or two more Pun cards in the rewards for the Hulk tourney, because I'd love to use him more; have him at my level max now (43) for 1-3-1; but none of the attacks, even boosted, make that much of a difference yet; unlike black panther. but I still have faith that Frank will be a winner.

My IPad Punisher is 2/1/0, which means he's only super useful when boosted by an event, but the strike tile scaling is still hilarious

seems on the forums like punisher is really popular. i don't get it. too much randomness. i like a tactical carefully controlled style.

anyway, doing well in the tourneys, gave up on the hulk event entirely. just too exhausting to bother fighting 230s all the way.

Punisher is random up until you can get Molotov Cocktail rolling continuously, at which point he turns into a constant damage churn and it doesn't matter if you have to match away attack tiles.

Also his board clearing move gives you strike tiles = A+

Yeah, I love Punisher. If nothing else that Red ability is a true gift, and then the board clear/strike tile abilities are gravy

Two more Ares covers, which brings him to an awesome 0/4/3!

I don't know if Ares is really worth it anyway over Thor/Ast. Wolvie for your RGY fix

two loki in the last tourney, now doing decently in divine champions -- if anything too well. i really just want the green cstorm to respec. I have her at 3/5/5 back from when her yellow was monster. now 5/5/3 is the better way to go. such a relief still to be sitting out hulk. i suppose i'll be jealous of the three star thor, but i never liked playing with him anyway -- just collect the tiles, then go to town, no real art to it. on the other hand all the guys i like playing with are way poorer on defense since you need to think further ahead to use 'em right.

anyway, with all the buffed heavy hitters divine champions is pretty brutal, and patch/loki/spidey is too risky to run. so its either patch/ares/spidey or ares/thor/spidey with the latter probably better on defense? i suppose the best defense would be ares/thor/cstorm if i bothered to level her past 40 (with the 3 green she's sorta lame now). i know i'd steer clear of such a team as an opponent in this tourney.

After getting near-walloped by some high-level Thors, I'm scared off of the Divine Champs tourney. Man, he's no fun to fight against when he's buffed.

I got my first ever T40 cover today (and yes, it was on a standard draw too).

The most covers I have for a 3 star character is five. Punisher and IM40. So I could only get them to level 41. Considering another 2 star, Ares, I have 8 of his covers.

dropped to the lowest end of points in the hulk event and probably relatedly (but perhaps not) finally the opponents went from 230 each to around 67-90, depending.

Similar thing for me... all my matches this have been reasonable (like 70-130), probably because of how bad I did in the last round of the last PvE set where I was getting 180-230 matches. I'm trying to pace myself because I don't care about winning more iso/Heroic tokens in the sub-brackets, but I just want enough to get into the top 1000 to get 3x Gold Thor cards at the end of the week

The Divine Champions PvP is pretty brutal due to the crazy buffs on Ares and Thor, usually have to burn off a health pack for every match

I'm pushing through on Divine ChMps to get the Hero tokens but as Nhex says it just wipes out teams and health packs.

The constant streams of Rag, Daken, Moonstone teams in Hulk is taking toll too especially at the stupid levels.

I am skipping the Divine Champions PvP. I don't have the right characters leveled for it -- only C. Storm is at level 85.

Got to 500, don't need Thor at 700 so that'll do me. Currently at #4, which probably shows how few are playing this. Either the IM40 or CStorm green would suit so no real incentive to keep the rank high.

Standard pull today netted me a Classic Hawkeye. :\

That said, I am now the proud owner of a Loki thanks to the resupply, and got another green Hulk to bring him to, wait for it, 3/0/0.

My Hulk is 3/1/0. I desperately want to pump so ISO into him, but seems pointless without some black covers.

Wonder if I should go for the Iron Man 40 cover or the C Storm cover -- former would be my second, latter would bring her to 4/4/3.

I could never get behind IM40. Just doesn't fit my style of play though.

Ended up getting the Storm, but since this next PVP offers her yellow covers, might as well try for the IM40s.

I really hate the feeling of losing a hundred places in the final results while you're asleep.

Got x-force wolverine for a daily deal for a 100 hero points. No roster space and no hope that I'll ever see another one ever again.

I really just want to get all the punisher cards from the hulk progression.

I'd almost rather have a slew of standards over heroic. I swear I've gotten better pulls from standards. Heroic always gives me wolvie/Thor/cStorm.

same here, but i guess that's what one heroic a week (ish) and 4 standards a day (ish) will do given the stats in the above .xls taught us

With the standards, my expectations are already low enough that I'm not disappointed when I pull a thor/wolvie. Heroic I just have too high of hopes.
