maybe just stick with local garda. i was going to call myself "frseanfortune" but felt naming my tag after a convicted paedo might not be as funny after a few weeks, or if i was playing some childerz.

yeah my inability to come up with a clever live username is how i ended up as "nnnnnggggghhhhh", which ive really come to like over time.

i am LOCALGARDA on this btw...feel free to add ilxorz, I have Halo 3 and SFIV and am shit at both.

the hilariously shoddy and awful half-rate faux fight club dialog in the wanted demos tutorial mode is well worth the time it takes to download it. some absolutely priceless own your life videogamer fatty self-aware pomo nudge nudge fantasy stuff. (note: i am certain that the game is crap, and i was kind of drunk when i was playing it so it might not be quite as hysterically awful sober, but what the hell, its free.)

made saints rows self-indulgent scripted violence (which i played afterward) seem erudite and witty in comparison

I tried the Weapon of Choice demo, not 2p sadly, but it was really fun. The dynamic of getting close to getting killed and having a grim reaper start to glow on the screen, changing the visuals and the music to reflect how immanent your doom is, is clever and neat. I haven't bought it yet, but for 400 pts I very well might (need to try the demo a few more times).

That new Squaresoft game comes out this week on Arcade. Does anyone know anything about it?

so the xbox gold deal of the week pulls me in with braid for cheap, follows it up with ninja gaiden II expansion i dont care about, and now all they're willing to give me is some PGR4 map pack? eat shit THROW ME SOME MORE STANDALONES YOU DICKS.

yeah that's some bullshit. I'm happy about Braid, I wasn't going to buy it at $15 but I did it at $10.

that PGR4 map-pack, half of that stuff was on the free upgrade from a while back anyway wasn't it? (ie flux, tourist option etc)

Played weapons of fate demo last night...may have to play again, atmospheric but I'm not so sure about the gameplay, especially the curved bullet thing.

i finally got braid too. generally i think most xbla games are mad overrated but braid is impressive.

nevermind, i can google. peggle is out tomorrow. nice. wish it were out today.

braid is super impressive, and super hard. some of the puzzles makes me wonder if there's something wrong with it.
