Amazing that something so inane could be so infuriating. Probably down to the anxiety of knowing that you're a slight twitch or screen obscuring notification away from losing at any point, plus the jarring effect of having to unlearn decades of positive associations with the green pipes in Mario games.

ok flappy bird is pretty perverse but once you get past the first bunch of pipes and it turns into a straight RPG its kind of amazing

yeah, i'm curious to hear more about that. my friend at work was showing it to me today, and...after watching him go through 15 pipes and die 3 times in a row, i thought that's all there was

i couldn't get through ONE pipe, promptly erased and moved on.

i got a gold medal and haven't really picked it up since, but there's a satisfying difficulty level and when you're in the zone it's entrancing

OK, I take everything back. Threes is insanely addictive. I like how it gets where you think you're screwed, you make a couple of good moves and then you're DOMINATING.
