The singing starts about 120 seconds in. Actually, to clarify, it's not the worst music ever, it's the worst Bjork imitation ever, and the worst lyrics ever.

Is Grid Wars the same as Geometry Wars, or does it just look the same?

I've been trying to download the free game Perfect Cherry Blossom, but everywhere I can find it, it's a .lzh file, which I can't get my computer to unzip correctly for some reason (maybe because it's an old file and the new versions of winzip and similiar programs don't recognize it correctly?). Anybody here know what I'm doing wrong and what I need to do to be able to pay this amazing looking game?

LZH is a very old archive format rarely used anymore, but Winzip should work. I just downloaded the demo (which I guess you have) to see, it should work with WinRar or 7-Zip. Grab the English patch here if you want to read the hyper-cutesy character dialogue, profiles and such.

Thanks Nhex - I got it to work finally using WinRAr. Pretty crazy shooter on normal - I can't imagine the harder difficulties. The hit point is pretty small, mercifully...

Haven't tried any Hard ones yet -- do enemies give out even less money than on intermediate?

I think it's close to the same amount, but the maps don't double back much (if at all), so if you don't get them with your first or second group of towers, you're fucked. It's pretty hard to even get through the first five waves.

Tried playing the hell out of a load of abandonware games this weekend, but lots didn't work due to that old fast memory error from days of old or they were just too darn fast (magic carpet woah).

psycho pinball was there but it ran too slow, so i'd gotten the taste for it and immediately had to get hold of genesis emu and rom. Such a great pinball game
