I use her as a sort of backup character, mostly levelled her during the all-lady tournament because my xx connection was a goddamn joke and i was kinda bored of levelling my mains.

She has much more HP than I expected, and her purple skill is kinda nice -- hits hard if there's nothing to teleport, and if there's only one thing to teleport, you can set it up to explode upon landing. Very handy when big strike/prot/etc tiles are climbing up yr butt. Her red blast is very very powerful as well (at 45 it is often doing more than 50% of lvl 85 wolv's red, assuming there are a bunch of red tiles on the board -- mix with IM40's recharge and wolvie to get red gems without click click clicking reds, and preserve the on-board reds due to the big damage boosts).

While she's not at the top of my priority list right now, I am definitely not bummed if I have to use her. My #1 focuses now are levelling OBW and MagNow (if I get more covers) but she's definitely a nice cover to have when I'm not using those two + IM40 + wolvie.

I would rate magnow and im40 above her, esp. for mag's insane purple power & im40's recharge. dunno about hulk, you can probably ignore moon for the time being if you have those guys on deck tho.

fully leveled spidey has a two ap blue web stun that is basically the endgame attack

so basically: 2 blue matches = 3 turn stun

Spidey's stun stacks with more with each web tile on the board (+1 web tile placed per stun, stun 1 turn per web tile already on the board) so it gets into a pretty sick self-loop. if they up it to 4AP i think it'd be fine

i'm guessing they'll tone down the dmg on the feral claw strike tiles, at a certain point they get ridic. Ragnarok is broken as all hell so it's about time, i'm agree

i'm still IM40. i'm tempted to go with Mags NOW! or O-Black Widow soon. i can buff some more 2/3* characters but i feel like, why bother if i can't get them to at least Lvl 85?

read: still lvling IM40 - currently at 109. i could complete him with a blue card, but i really want to get recharge to 5 cards.

all the characters kinda suck at 2/2/2 and below - i can see him being a true beast at high levels

looking at the forum, the one big plus I see with him over 2 star Wolvie is his hp total at max: almost 10,000!

got my 5th blue spiderman. really enjoying his stun while it lasts.

Fellows, when the PvP events are your only ( reliable ) source of HP, did you just try to chip away at the 50 HP reward level until you got your 2* and 3* characters leveled up? Because the amount of angst I had from trying to stay in the 100 HP tier is kind of unbearable.

Are you using HP to upgrade your characters? I'm just stockpiling it for roster slots, still, and now for shields at the end of a tourney.

not completely in agreement with that (my 25th spot hosting a bagman l6 is not so valuable) but yeah, that's mostly right, esp. as they introduce new characters

otoh: I am finally beginning to appreciate hawkeye modern, via the hunt; that blue attack is almost unfair

ARGH touched the wrong button in my rewards list, accidentally upgraded my Spider-Man Classic to 4 Purple. goddamnit.

his purple isn't bad too really. its just the blue is killer. amazing the difference between 4ap and 2ap for it.

No, I'm definitely not using HP for anything except for roster slots. Still, despairing as hell trying to scrounge around for it (I'd been trying to grind my way to 1000 SHIELD points in Versus to get that 100 HP reward, only to face the proverbial 2 steps forward, 1 step back situation).

don't sweat it too much. at a certain point you'll have powerful enough characters that you'll place midway through weekly tourneys and get HP all the time. you should be able to pick up a bunch from the story mission rewards that come up, like The Hunt right now, as well. just don't get rid of any 3* or better cards, everything else you'll get plenty of opportunities to get again.

Well you convinced me.

Spent a couple of my heroic tokens, now I have a 4* Wolverine, and a C Magneto on deck.

Tempted to sell Wolverine BTW for that delicious 50 HP.

Also, the Hunt is convincing me to put some effort into Cap, because one you get enough red or blue AP, those abilities are do some nice damage or stun, PS you recoup most of the AP.

stop trying to give me a juggernaut, game. not gonna happen

I kind of think that having one of every damn character is not necessary. kind of thinking I'm going to purge some of my 1-star ones as I get more options
