Walking Dead sequel is out. Kinda neat it carries on from your decisions in the first, however maybe they could work out a way to save your outcome in the cloud or something, because I sure didn't keep a 2.5 GB game on my device for the last 6 months.

I think that's part of the reason why they now mandate a Telltale account to play it, I think, regardless of your platform

<3 michael brough so much. if anything prefer Corrypt to 868-HACK. to win the game you've got to break the early game rules and landscape, and by breaking the game you become the powerful evil you thought you were hunting, you get to use meta rules like save game checkpoints as one of the main 'moves' in your tactics, and in the end you create so much destruction and disorder that you can't move and just end up gazing in shock at what you've done just because you wanted to solve a puzzle. well I did. seems to get deep into the fabric of game playing in every way. it's like portal if each time you solved a room you made the next room more difficult for yourself. and if portals went into previous rooms you'd already solved.

interesting what he says about people using .STEP to run through the hard levels... though i'm not sure how that's a thing? like, you score big on early levels and just step your way through the higher ones?

there's a specific point where it all goes batshit - where you start using/encountering the first few 'replace same tile in every room with nothing' spells. once you start getting those spells more frequently, it all goes haywire.

I was frequently able to do this, but usually only on the final stage.

I finally caved and purchased one of these devices. What fiveish games should I get, given that

i. I have already played a Kairosoft game and don't need another
ii. I would rather have an ~interesting gameplay experience~ than a compellingly put-together grindfest
ii. a. I don't really have a commute as such
ii. b. I don't ever want to install Marvel Puzzle Quest

Truth be told, other than Drop 7 the only iPhone game I have ever enjoyed is Sally's Spa and its companion game Sally's Salon

i feel like it's been lapped by a lot of other iPhone games since 2009 in looks, design, quality etc. not like i can make a 1:1 comparison, but there's a lot more options now for this sort of game

maybe i'm just burned out on the flat look
