Yeah Euro Truck is great, although none of the cities really look like the places they're meant to be.

that's what killed my interest in the truck sim games, i wanted to be driving on real-ish maps. means i didn't explore the rest of the gameplay enough to decide if i liked them or not.

I love the fact that I can listen to 100 or so radio stations from across Europe in ETS. Hauling ice cream from Wroclaw to Poznan is a lot of fun when you have Bulgarian pop on the stereo.

Picked up Sir, You Are Being Hunted for £7.50 on Steam y'day, and god damn if it isn't just about the hardest, most relentless game I've played in ages. There's no downtime, ever. No safe places. Just crawling around in the bushes, trying not to get seen.

I've barely pursued the main objective so far, it's more been a case of getting from meal-to-meal, and in between times you keep your head down and try to maybe make it to the other end of this field, if you're feeling lucky. Swift learning curve too, caught me a rabbit and tried cooking it in what I thought was a safe space pretty early on in the game. Stupid rly, should have known what would come of lighting fires at dusk, even though I thought I was quite well hidden.

Basically this game is really rather good for the money, given that it's apparently nowhere near finished and there's still a fair bit of material to be added.

The overall tone, sound design, the voice-over instructions (which are totally lol), the very British silliness of it combined with the fact that it can be p. fucking scary quite a lot of the time (feeling brave, decide to make a break across an open field, get halfway across then notice the silhouette of one of those fucking robots on the horizon, not yet spotted you so you FREEZE but there's nowhere to hiiide arrrrrggh OMG what do I doooo).

Ain't gonna change the world but it's worth the outlay while going cheap i reckon

Bought Skyrim despite never having got rid of my 360 copy because I already had £1.81 in my account after selling trading cards and paying the remaining £1.98 or whatever just to have it there in my steam library next to morrowind and oblivion seemed...worth it? Idiot.

Yeah I pretty quickly realised that, and there's even a way to hack a 360 save into the PC version. So I can just pick up where I left off.

the first 1000 ppl who paid >= $10 got a copy of starbound.. when i checked out, there were still some copies left, but by the time the paypal processing finished, they were already gone. message in the library said "We sold out of Starbound; unfortunately your purchase was right on the edge. We are scrounging for more keys." then they said you could email for a refund

im guessing the asked the devs for extra keys to give out for those "on the edge" who didnt ask for a refund
