I've Seen rRootage (Will M.), Friday, 8 November 2013 23:08 (twelve years ago)

I'll take City! I think it's the only Mac compatible one.

EZ Snappin, Friday, 8 November 2013 23:09 (twelve years ago)

I'll take asylum if it's still available?

thomasintrouble, Friday, 8 November 2013 23:29 (twelve years ago)

Just sent you them, hope that works!

I've Seen rRootage (Will M.), Monday, 11 November 2013 09:17 (twelve years ago)

Ace stuff, cheers Will. Hope I can repay the favour some time.

Mordy , Thursday, 14 November 2013 00:27 (twelve years ago)

(sigh) new steam sale is on (sigh)

Bought Skyrim despite never having got rid of my 360 copy because I already had £1.81 in my account after selling trading cards and paying the remaining £1.98 or whatever just to have it there in my steam library next to morrowind and oblivion seemed...worth it? Idiot.

JimD, Wednesday, 27 November 2013 23:37 (twelve years ago)

I scored AC3 and Bioshock Infinite for $14 on Gamefly today

I can't keep up, I can't keep up, I can't keep up (calstars), Thursday, 28 November 2013 00:01 (twelve years ago)

Gone Home is $5 on a flash sale. Lotta hype on this one, so I'll grab it tonight. Rogue Legacy too, since it's on Mac now.

Nhex, Thursday, 28 November 2013 02:24 (twelve years ago)

i thought gone home was shit tbh

Mordy , Thursday, 28 November 2013 02:27 (twelve years ago)

rogue legacy is great tho (a little too easy for a game w/ 'rogue' in the title)

Mordy , Thursday, 28 November 2013 02:27 (twelve years ago)

i'm glad to hear it, FTL was too brutal for me

Nhex, Thursday, 28 November 2013 03:21 (twelve years ago)

humble bundle has kind of broken my buy reflex honestly... i feel better about waiting two months to scoop up the cream of these for six bucks.

Legit tempted by Euro Truck Simulator at 75℅ off.

Ramnaresh Samhain (ShariVari), Friday, 29 November 2013 19:17 (twelve years ago)

desert bus is in the latest android humble bundle fwiw

zanarkand bozo (abanana), Friday, 29 November 2013 19:25 (twelve years ago)

why the hell would anyone remake Desert Bus

ETS has its fans on the other board I frequent

Nhex, Friday, 29 November 2013 20:18 (twelve years ago)

Ended up buying it along with State Of Decay and the last Dead Island game. Look forward to trundling through the bits of Central Europe I'll recognise.

Ramnaresh Samhain (ShariVari), Friday, 29 November 2013 20:30 (twelve years ago)

Yeah Euro Truck is great, although none of the cities really look like the places they're meant to be.

JimD, Saturday, 30 November 2013 05:38 (twelve years ago)

that's what killed my interest in the truck sim games, i wanted to be driving on real-ish maps. means i didn't explore the rest of the gameplay enough to decide if i liked them or not.

Noodle of the Vague family (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 30 November 2013 14:55 (twelve years ago)

Dishonored and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition currently £3.74 on Steam. Final Fantasy VII is £3.39

whilsting away the day (onimo), Saturday, 30 November 2013 17:35 (twelve years ago)

I love the fact that I can listen to 100 or so radio stations from across Europe in ETS. Hauling ice cream from Wroclaw to Poznan is a lot of fun when you have Bulgarian pop on the stereo.

Ramnaresh Samhain (ShariVari), Saturday, 30 November 2013 17:39 (twelve years ago)

ok now i'm interested again

Noodle of the Vague family (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 1 December 2013 01:45 (twelve years ago)

Picked up Sir, You Are Being Hunted for £7.50 on Steam y'day, and god damn if it isn't just about the hardest, most relentless game I've played in ages. There's no downtime, ever. No safe places. Just crawling around in the bushes, trying not to get seen.

I've barely pursued the main objective so far, it's more been a case of getting from meal-to-meal, and in between times you keep your head down and try to maybe make it to the other end of this field, if you're feeling lucky. Swift learning curve too, caught me a rabbit and tried cooking it in what I thought was a safe space pretty early on in the game. Stupid rly, should have known what would come of lighting fires at dusk, even though I thought I was quite well hidden.

Basically this game is really rather good for the money, given that it's apparently nowhere near finished and there's still a fair bit of material to be added.

The overall tone, sound design, the voice-over instructions (which are totally lol), the very British silliness of it combined with the fact that it can be p. fucking scary quite a lot of the time (feeling brave, decide to make a break across an open field, get halfway across then notice the silhouette of one of those fucking robots on the horizon, not yet spotted you so you FREEZE but there's nowhere to hiiide arrrrrggh OMG what do I doooo).

Ain't gonna change the world but it's worth the outlay while going cheap i reckon

no way, u can use mods on it now! skyrim w/ mods is amazing (so i hear)

am0n, Thursday, 12 December 2013 16:50 (twelve years ago)

Yeah I pretty quickly realised that, and there's even a way to hack a 360 save into the PC version. So I can just pick up where I left off.

JimD, Thursday, 12 December 2013 18:45 (twelve years ago)

typing of the dead is ten bucks on steam, i am getting it and you should too.

Strangers look on with a discernible, barely contained ‘wow’. (forksclovetofu), Monday, 16 December 2013 20:00 (twelve years ago)

Nhex, Monday, 16 December 2013 20:04 (twelve years ago)

below spec... for a typing game?

Strangers look on with a discernible, barely contained ‘wow’. (forksclovetofu), Monday, 16 December 2013 20:16 (twelve years ago)

I've Seen rRootage (Will M.), Saturday, 21 December 2013 06:07 (twelve years ago)

Guys, go vote for Love Live The Queen for the flash sale so I have an excuse to buy it. I promise I'll buy some other "worthy" indie game like Papers Please or something.
