iPhone games (also Ipod Tooch/iPad games too)

i'm at 16 card slots in MPQ and it's getting REALLY tempting to buy in, but i shall resist. i do wish it were as generous as P&D, but it's getting there with the daily bonus + constant tourneys, analogous to the daily/limited dungeons in P&D

tourneys in mpq are key: pretty doable to feed on smaller players and get some nice goodies. got a level 16 Doctor Doom yesterday! sold my level 17 classic Hawkeye to fit him, but Hawkeye kinda sucks. Iron Man on the other hand...

Wolverine is so far disappointingly lame. but I've gotten no upgrades for him yet. game just keeps throwing Hawkeye & Storm covers at me, and neither is great; well, maybe the *other* Storm is great, but the one I leveled up to 6 is pretty lame and I'm probably gonna sell her.

classic storm is good bc of elemental barrier

i kept common hawkeye and storm because their skills are really useful - it's too bad they'll always stay weak damage wise, but fully lvled up they'll be good third-slotters

and yeah, i love elemental barrier on Portacio Storm

I've had that feeling with various games before, it's disturbing

i had forgotten just how addictive the puzzlequest dynamic is... giving the constant sugar-drip of character building and the lolnerd Marvel Universe connections, this is genuinely dangerous stuff. I've taken to playing "until I kill all the characters" and that's taking about two and a half hours a go now

my Thor is p decent but other players in the tourney have like level 46 Thors and it's not pretty

by contrast I did pretty well in the Iron Man tourney, well enough to get a model 40...which is great except I think upgrades and thus levels are gonna be rare. right now I have terrific regular Iron Man & Wolvie, great Juggernaut and Thor, decent Black Widow...and then a bunch of 3 & 2 star "uncommon" & "rare" cards that don't pop enough to get levels. should kept all those Storms I got originally, didn't realize that was gonna be the only way to get a high level character (sold them to make space for e.g. level 15 Doctor Doom, the Hood, Magneto)

basically i fret over which is the uncommon (2*) cards I wanna drop. the rare 3* characters are awesome but will i ever boost to be really usable? i don't know. at least the 2* cards will appear regularly enough, but every time I get a duplicate card that I threw out a while back I cringe.

Modern Wolverine (2*) isn't that good, for example, but you can get a ton of those cards through the single player missions, so I guess I'm hanging onto him. X Force Wolverine (3*) is awesome, but I don't know if I'll ever get another, like you say

Those Level 15 guys (3*) are pretty good in one-offs but my buffed up Lv. 18 common Venom is far more useful in general

both Storms totally worth keeping btw. if you're talking about the common Modern Storm it'll pop up a million times over

I got sucked into Real Racing 3. Anyone else feeling it? The AC Cobra has been such a $/gold pit for me... And now today they put it on sale for 50% off. Ugh!

the regular 2 star Wolvie is great, though; have him at level 30, heals like 70 a turn. can get taken out by a series of huge hits (fuck Juggernaut forever unless he's on my side) but o/w he's serious business

hmm, i only have Modern Wolvie up to 2 cards right now - i'll work on buffin' him. it's tough to go back to those Prologue missions (with all the Wolvie rewards in the last part) now they're doing weekly/lightning tournaments all the time now

yeah I got way into the Iron Man tourney but the Thor tourney has kicked my ass so I've been doing prologue again

is the idea that there will be more missions beyond the prologue? because yummmmmmm

definitely - the other week they had this "Unstable Iso-8" set that only around for about a week

apps that give you photos from around the world are so amazing with the air's screen - some incredible images.

The event matchmaking system is entirely based on how you finish in your tournaments. So if you want easier matches, start tanking in either the SHIELD tournament, or in the lightning rounds. Win one lighting round match, then lose on purpose a few times. You'll start getting cupcake matches after that.

i really need a new game. i've been playing cutting edge game Home Run Battle 2 for the last few days, totally hating myself for it. there are a ton of games i'd really like to play, but they're either iPad exclusive or seem like they'd be much more fun on iPad. for example, Drive on Moscow.
