I downloaded that Demon's Souls thing and man I died instantly to the tutorial boss, and then I double-died in the first level. Pretty fun melee mechanics, feels like advanced 3D Zelda.

That boss is designed to kill everyone.

depends, some are up for 12 months, some for just one. the current PS3 12 month games are being rotated out next month.

Some are even tighter windows, I think God of War HD was only up for a week. It's not ideal having to keep track of this stuff, subscribers should really have every new title auto-added to their download queues.

bought a 12gb ps3 yesterday because i want to play heavy rain, the uncharteds, journey, and lbp. this might be a dumb question but seeing as the hdd is so small, am i going to be excluded from certain games, such as this upcoming 'the last of us' game which is reported to be 25gb big? surely they wouldn't sell a product without making this clear?

reason i ask is ive been downloading a few demos off psn, about 6gv of stuff in total and it's coming up with 'no storage left' error messages when i try to load one up. could be because my internet went down mid-download but dunno.

if i have to just play one game at a time, uninstall before playing the next, then that's fine but if i've paid £140 for a machine that won't play some of the upcoming main games out there then that's seriously fucked up

it's super easy to upgrade the hard drive, just pick up a larger internal laptop drive, pop open the PS3 and replace

cheers, just been reading about that, seems like it can be done for under £40 so may well do that. i pretty much just hammer one game at a time though so im hoping i won't have to, once i uninstall all these demos.

still curious about whether the last of us (or future big games) are simply not going to fit on a 'clean' 12gb model. massively out of order if so.

i got a 500 gig drive and it was an easy fix. the major hassle is transferring the olf files over.

get a bigger HD ASAP. and get a PSN+ sub

worth noting that you need double the hard disk space of whatever you are downloading, as it unpacks & installs and only then deletes the original download. hence the 'no storage left' error messages after downloading 6GB of stuff. Sony engineering at its finest.

im gona see how far i get with the basic hdd first. play most games on xbox and my pc so i literally only want the 5 or so ps exclusive games listed above, and im fairly happy to play one, or poss 2 if space allows, games at a time. im brand new to ps stuff and it seems mandatory installs of 6gb, like heavy rain & gran turismo 5, aren't the norm - uncharted 2 only asks for a 1gb install so i'm *hoping* i can get by with my teeny tiny hd. (while keeping a close eye on upcoming mega-game install sizes)
