Why doesn't Ron Gilbert just figure out how much it would cost to do his version of Monkey Island 3 and do a kickstarter for that? It would be successful beyond belief.

Really that's the only thing i would have an immediate interest in funding.

Disney currently own MI rights after buying LucasArts last year, so that is probably the end of that

tbh I totally want the game that I imagine it will be, but considering the ship date is a year and a half from now and it'll reach its goal through the efforts of Other People I don't know that it's worth backing…especially since I've not been digging into the backer-exclusive Double Fine Adventure updates at all.

my first reaction was "man, so shameless" but after watching the video and reading the page it's well done... may back this one. no doubt it will be huge by the time it's all said and done (2 days and it's already 55% of the $900k)
