I've been playing some Motorstorm RC. The game is tremendously tough, but pretty fun. I wish it had online multiplayer.

Might get Journey on sale today, but not sure if I should wait for a sale on the disc version.

Really nice PS+ prices. Anyone rep for Unfinished Swan, LBP Karting, Hot Shots Golf, or House of the Dead OVERKILL?

Hot Shots Golf is great. If you've never played any of the previous Hot Shot games, it's a no brainer at that price. If you've played the other Hot Shot games before (or classic Mario Golf games), it's pretty much just more of the same, except with better graphics, a new shot type (though classic is still best) and some online modes... so it depends if you feel like playing more of that.

Hot Shots Golf is mechanically a pretty good golf game and has a sort of RPG mode to work through, i find the look of it pretty ugly though, those big bobbly heads ugh :(
played HOTD Overkill on Wii and its a good lightgun game esp local co-op, obv in thrall of Tarantino/70s exploitation thing but the script is quite funny in places - i imagine it would be pretty unplayable unless you have the Move controller though

i haven't played Mario Golf since the Gamecube... i'm thinking about it
i do have the Move, but i guess I'd have to shell out for a second controller to do co-op. for $5, though, that sounds like fun

oh yeh EU PSN is having a Final Fantasy sale starting Wednesday, pretty much everything half price.

Hey I've got a PS+ question - I don't have a vita. But the PSN store seems to let me add the vita games under PS+ to my basket and check them out. Is that going to be enough for me to have them all still be available if I do pick up a vita in the future? Or do I need to have initiated a download to an actual console too?

once you've checked them out they will always be accessible via yr download history, no need to download. i just go to the webstore (now available in US) and "buy" everything PS+ when it comes available, much quicker than using the PS3.

Mostly A list (but not usually triple A) stuff from maybe 9 to 12 months ago? Sometimes longer. So yeah, pretty good. Recently in the UK we've had the likes of Arkham City, Bulletstorm, Crysis 2, Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands 1.

Basically thanks to PS+, my massive Steam backlog, and my increasingly limited gaming time, I'm planning to buy NO NEW RELEASES for the whole of 2013. We'll have to see how that goes though, resisting GTAV is going to be a a struggle for sure.

American ps+ games (and this is pretty universally agreed upon) are not as good as UK. Still worth it honestly.
