Lord British clearly doesn't need Kickstarter. $1MM is not close to enough to make that game. He's probably just on the bandwagon for marketing reasons, and because nobody objects to a million dollar loan at 0% interest.

Why doesn't Ron Gilbert just figure out how much it would cost to do his version of Monkey Island 3 and do a kickstarter for that? It would be successful beyond belief.

Really that's the only thing i would have an immediate interest in funding.
