that is not true of roughly 99% of the games i've gotten for free on my iphone. most free games that are demos have the decency to have "lite" or something such in the title

Which difficulty did you beat? All of them? How long did you have to go? I have so many questions and so few answers.

you have to go ~60 seconds on each of the first 3 levels to open up the hyper levels. you beat the game when you've gone 60 seconds on the 3rd level (to unlock the final hyper level). i have some mediocre hyper scores too, but wasn't required to do anything in them to get the game complete message. i'll be working on them next i guess.

Congrats Mordy! I've been stuck on the third level, Hexagonest, and can't seem to get any better at it (22:51 is my best). It just seems to be beyond me :(

so i beat the first two hyper levels. each one that i beat i got a message that i passed the level, and then it said that i had completed 4/6 and then 5/6 sides (whatever that means) i assume the final side will be completed w/ beating the 3rd hyper level, but it might be some time before i'm able to do that. my high score on that board is 18:28 seconds and i'm struggling to get near that let alone get all the way up to 60.

< 600 people even on the leaderboard for the final hyper level sooo you're already in rarefied company mordy

so is playing that game just a matter of memorizing the pattern and touching the screen appropriately? Could you write the winning passage as sheet music?

there are patterns but they come out in an unpredictable order, so it's about practicing the mapping from patterns to touches to the point of being able to unconsciously execute them.

i'm trying to chalk the fact that i keep crapping out at around 30 seconds on levels 3/4/5 on the fact that it hiccups a ton on my iphone 4, but uh

It got an update to extend the visible playfield over that extra half inch of iphone 5 screen, not sure whether that gives me an unfair advantage or not (my performance would suggest not).

Played Forever Lost, a traditional point-n-click locked room amnesia type adventure puzzler. Not very long, I finished it in a morning, but worth it for 69p if you like that kind of thing.

I finally got Kings of Dragon Pass now that there's an iPad version and damn is this game fascinating.

guys, definitely try Battleheart. Totally worth the three bucks. very very good.

Dragon Pass sorta feels like Civilization the board game or something. I'm not very far in, but pretty cool.

I tried Carmageddon last night, but found it pretty horrible with virtual controls. Lost interest before I finished the first race.

Love it. Mostly for nostalgia reasons.
