seems inevitable that Skyrim and New Vegas will both be daily/flash deals, and I think Brink already was

I've never heard anybody say anything good about Brink after it actually came out, so buyer beware. Ditto Stronghold 3.

I wonder how much EA is losing out on by pulling all their games. I mean, yeah, their own service gets them a better cut of each sale, but how is an Origin sale going to compete with the hyped seasonal purchasing frenzy that accompanies each regular Steam event?

Anyone played From Dust, from the guy who did Flashback / Another World? I have fond nostalgic memories of those and love god games so I guess it's right up my street but I've also got to calm down and stop buying stuff. Reviews are mixed, some good ones and some "it's very pretty but where's the game" etc

I just added Shogun 2 to the list I posted on the PC gaming thread (Portals 1 & 2, Anno 2070, Grimrock). Turns out an old friend worked on the UI and is pretty pleased with himself, so I said I'd have a look... one day when someone's blown up the bank and I don't have to work. \o/

Somebody tell me whether Anno 2070 is worth it. I've been playing a lot of Anno 1404, and this looks like it borrows much of the same gameplay and in-game assets

i've heard that Anno 2070 has been on sale on Amazon/other outlets at the same discount, so don't worry too much about grabbing it now

ah portal 2 ended. I though I was only about halfway through. good fun while it lasted tho.

Got New Vegas and all the dlc for £7.50. Almost didn't, but then realised I'd just spent £6 on breakfast and that made it seem more of a no-brainer.
