So was pocket league any good?

The usual, more or less – it's the style I prefer – more like Game Dev and Grand Prix Stories than mall/academy. Fairly easy and so many carry-overs, though, that it becomes a walkover at some point, and the matches are unskippable – tedious to sit through one 11-0 victory after another. But I got 2.5 fixated playthroughs out of it, so no complaints.

Also has pushed me to the point of lunacy where I'm curious to know more about the lives and origins of King Akbar, Chimpan Z, Grizzly Bearington and Kairobot.

Really looking forward to getting off work and playing the just released iOS port of Eufloria (iPad only), which is sort of a cross between the ambient gaming of Osmos and the RTS genre:

"Eufloria is a game of space, conquest, and exploration based on themes of plant life and flowers rather than space marines and spaceships."

not sure async is such a boon; games only take about 15 mins

Couldn't work out how to make it asynchronous anyway but I just beat cozen IN REAL TIME.

if you close the app after initiating a game you get alerts when it's your turn

you can only call it if you have 7 points or less

i would suggest playing it for like half an hour to get the hang of it, you get it pretty quick and then you get ADDICTED!

that. plus the whole throw away a 7 and the card you pick up is another 7.

eh, what are these slapdowns of which u speak? when i click on the info button nxt to it, it leads to a pic that's cut halfway through and a video that i can't seem to be able to watch.
also really pissed off cos i bought the pro version to play online and then realised that i'm back to an iphone 3g so no game center = no online play. :(

you don't need pro to play online
