san andreas on the licence plates, yeah so it's probably a cut down version - be surprised if they bothered with vegas at all in this one. I'm guessing just Los santos with the surrounding countryside. which i'm happy about, love togging it around the hills.

good thing they heeded everyones advice and made the protagonist another Good Guy Trying to Do the Right Thing i hope they give you a cousin and a girlfriend again

people are speculating protagonist is an older tommy vercetti? might make sense w/ the "leaving the life behind" talk. he'd be like 60 in this though if it's set in present day

also if they were specifially trying to fool everyone right at the start into thinking it was VC, they got me.

it's ok i'm fully prepared for this to have the loathsome repetitive grinding gameplay they've had in every other installment so far, and still get a massive kick out of just tooling round the city.

GTA game looks like a GTA game, and I'm okay with that. Slightly disappointed that they didn't take the franchise out of the US though. I'd have loved a European setting, + giving it a Bourne Identity flavour. But.

this trailer does look sweet. i wonder how much of it is actual gameplay.

but s1ocki i want cars and i want to run people over with them/shoot missiles out of them. also with tight maps full of busted up shit and jumps and stuff. basically what borderlands tried to do but the car parts sucked
