(actually this is gonna help me figure out these random planting skills I've picked up but haven't used yet, plus there's that annoying "harvest all 8 trees in one day" quest where one of the trees only grows in a private residence I think?)

nope, they all grow everywhere. The wood tree is just a solid gold bitch to find because when harvested it looks like a regular background stump.

cool, i'll stop by and drop off a few eggs or something. kinda just wanna get through this cooking ordeal as soon as possible, got so many different ingredients in my bag already and still it's not enough to cook anything decent.

Oh no, it's going away again already? Was looking forward to a bank holiday weekend of glitching. (4pm PDT which I think is midnight Britisher summertime or 4 and a quarter hours away, says the rumour mill.)

In other news, I thought the 50 onions quest meant plant 50 packets of onion seeds, not harvest 50 onions, which actually took about 6 packets. I have a LOT of onions now.

i'm a little afraid that when the full game comes out, and everything has to scale up, they're just going to increase the time required to learn skills. i mean, can they really keep adding enough skills to keep it interesting? it looks like you can get everything in a month in this beta

not at all, just my fear for now. but the game will ultimately be F2P, so they need to keep churning out new material to keep people coming... i think the temptation to extend skill learn time will just be too great, as pretty much happens with every freemium/time-lapse/social game

Maybe. There was a good interview with Stewart, somewhere, where he said that's exactly what he wished wouldn't happen. He's also planning on introducing temples sometime soon.

true... i'm also pretty interested in the upcoming stuff for upgrading streets, like you're going to be able to add individual features through customizable street projects and such
