I am finally on this thing! And I've already died once, cz my phone rang just as I'd gone in into somewhere cold, and I didn't realise that even though I was only on the welcome screen the cold was draining my energy and mood. Bummer, cz I had an almost full set of both before that.

Nhex, have you worked on any of the street-building projects? They're kind of fun, but you've gotta be fairly high level to make an impact.

Yeah, actually did one last night! yeah, its tough, you need level IV/level V skills of everything. The key it seems to is to prepare beforehand, getting lots of raw materials and food ready. Of course, I didn't come anywhere near the the Top 5, but it was still fun to see so many people come together and work on the same project at once.

i'm about to try to buy one of those 50k aptmts.

well, not everything at once - there are plenty of things you can do at low level - but the bulk of it, you need a specific level V skill to help, like Gardening V, Medition V, etc. if you have even one of those skills, it's worth getting in on it

dudes i really love all the alchemy stuff in this game, making elements and compounds etc, def going to be my focus when it resets

history of the rook museum sequence gives some perspective on where the game is headed i think - everybody else already do that quest?

my favorite is still a split between the firefly whistling and the gwendoline quest

nah, that's pretty awesome. tbh just the fact that you have animals and a garden is pretty cool, all i have is some crappy rubies no one will buy.

Donate them to the giants. You get a fair amount of XP and favour for the gems found while mining.

ah crap, all of my skill trees are blocked by needing to spend emblems of whoever and i am at work and should be doing stuff :(

there's a greasemonkey script somewhere that'll allow you to cue-up 5-10 skills in advance

idk maybe i have too much faith in these dudes but i am pretty optimistic that they are going to roll out some fairly awesome stuff on the regular, so im going to keep cracking away - also this beta has def focused my ideas about what i would concentrate on in the next go around - def didnt need quite so much teleportation, def should have gone deep earlier on mining/refining/etc. i dont think cooking or gardening are ever going to really grab me tbh
