glitch: a wacky new mmorpg played in browser

yeah i just did some forum reading, i'm wrong. nevermind. go back to spice tree harvesting

really want to play this but i'm not eager to play for a week (or whatever) and then have my stats wiped.

The way I see it, there are enough different skill trees that I can enjoy focusing on one branch now, and after the reset I'll start on something else. By the time I get round to learning cooking again I won't resent having to go through the same tasks. Plus it's just fun to play. It's definitely worth getting in now imo.

agreed. there's no downside. maybe you even get to skip an addiction!

this game is pretty much the opposite of horrid facebook go-nowhere endless gayness. it's surreal weird go-nowhere endless awesomeness instead.

tbf a lot of its appeal depends on how willing you are to be charmed by it... i eventually gave in, mostly because of the sheer amount of funny writing in the game

reconsidering my decision to try out a million different skills when the next reset happens - it's cool to try out stuff, but you end up having to carry so many different objects, and it's hard to get very far unless you really focus on stuff

like maybe next time i'll just do animal husbandry OR plants/soil, but not both. the cooking stuff spirals crazy out of control

the crops and animal stuff seems more suited to solo play than mining/bog harvesting/etc., it seems

once you get like eight or nine bigger bags and toolboxes, that problem goes away.

i like being a cook

i also like just giving stuff away to random people. It's a good game for good karma.

i've died a bunch of times, usually crafting something and not watching my energy meter. you end up in hell and have to squish grapes to get out. yup

apparently someone tagged the page as "potentially not tedious and bureaucratic", so it's automatically blocked

bummer. probably one of the lizard people from the office of bureaucracy.
