yeah, the beta state still has some real frustration points.
it's amazing how DEEP this game is; i just found out about group projects wherein glitchers work to expand the glitch universe using their skills
and i've yet to even get alchemy. About fourteen hours in.

Well, that's my plans for friday then.

Yeah, just before the last test ended I was sort of getting bored with the farming/crafting aspect of it, and then next thing I knew I'd found myself in a tower where some spooky girl ghost sent me on a vision quest. Completely reinvigorated my enthusiasm for the game.

Is there any word on when this starts for real? Cause this sounds amazing, but I don't think I want to get into it and then have to start all over after the beta ends.

My understanding is that the beta ends around the star of fall.
Inevitable reset is a little worrisome but honestly this game has so much depth and is so compulsively playable that I won't mind retracing my footsteps at all.

I was getting kinda bored too - granted it probably didn't help that my main skill line is meditation and teleporting - but then I decided what the hell, I'll take the subway somewhere, and realized the game world is LIKE HUGE

I played this for a few hours and yeah it is FUN. Never really played games like this before so am sorta just running around doing everything inefficiently. I like doing cheffy tasks. And I need to get my damn papers. Anyway can I get a group invite too pls. Same username as ilx.

yeah i just did some forum reading, i'm wrong. nevermind. go back to spice tree harvesting

really want to play this but i'm not eager to play for a week (or whatever) and then have my stats wiped.

The way I see it, there are enough different skill trees that I can enjoy focusing on one branch now, and after the reset I'll start on something else. By the time I get round to learning cooking again I won't resent having to go through the same tasks. Plus it's just fun to play. It's definitely worth getting in now imo.

agreed. there's no downside. maybe you even get to skip an addiction!
