it gets slower as you play longer, maybe because i'm checking it less obsessively.

currently saving up for that first elevator upgrade. it seems like new floors are getting exponentially more expensive, which is causing the slowdown

can anybody recommend a good emu / rom player for ipad for nes/genesis/snes/tgraphix/gameboy etc?

Aren't emulators technically illlegal, or at least the roms are, or something? It seems like maybe a jailbroken iPad/iPhone could use an emulator, but I can't imagine one passing the review to be placed on the app store.

Is it me or is there in fact NO WAY to do this without staring at it because staring is the only way to earn bux and earning bux is the only way to get anything to happen more than once a week? Haven't bought any bux though, as resisting buying them seems to be the only real satisfaction factor in this not-game.

you get bux from tips and from buying floors and from fully stocking floors.
again, i'm not really playing this. it just bothers me from time to time and i tend to it. like crabgrass.

You have to play lift attendant to get tips though! I find it confusing and hard to RP. /sigh

xp was wondering the same thing myself - might wanna kill the cheap stores at the bottom, but WHAT IF i suddenly have a new tenant that always wanted to work in a pub?

one trick I noticed is that if a blue ! pops up (find the person somewhere in the building), assuming you're not scrolling the screen, the person is usually very close to where you're currently looking, like no more than 3 floors up or down - much easier than going through the entire building looking for them

btw damn it takes a long time to save up enough bucks to buy the faster elevators

I moved all the stores to the lower floors and aptmts to upper.
Easier to restock

new update lets you sort bitizens by color interest - helpful. also they took away the popup when you fully restock a floor, but only get money as a reward

Dungeon Raid is ruling my iOS world right now.

I played it obsessively for awhile, but I got every race to level 5 and sort of lost interest.

yeah it's definitely infuriating with a lot of SNES games (if only it supported the Classic Controller!) but NES, Genesis, GB/GBA all work great

i hate myself for this fact, but ever since the Tiny Wings update came out that included the "Reach Island 9" goal, I've been attempting it every day for fucking months, GOD DAMMIT fuuuuu

3 times, I have been cruising up the final hill of Island 8, just as night falls. i feel like kevin costner in that part of tin cup where he's trying to reach the green from an absurd distance but keeps landing in the water, over and over, as his chances of winning the championship disintegrate. Fuck, now i hate myself for making a tin cup reference AND for not being consistent with my capitalization, fuck!
