i like risk type world conquest games so far 'risk' and 'strategery' are p good but im tired of both, any suggests

conquest and lux were both unplayable

dominion...my roommate plays the real life, non-phone version fo that. that's the card based game, right? it's pretty fun, but it's a lot closer to magic: the gathering than games like Risk or Civilization

i got settlers of catan which is a lil diff but in the same neighborhood but damn does that game have sooo many rules wtf

zenbound 2 is pretty damn neat and only a buck
also SFIV Volt which is just SFIV with online play is also just a buck and they're increasing the price by a buck every day until it's 8, so get it now if you want it

There aren't very many variables to think about but there is a fair bit of strategy to consider. You get points by controlling a road, city, cloister, or farming area, which you achieve by placing a game piece on the board. Your opponent may try to connect her controlled assets to yours. You can't place a game piece if someone has already done so on a contiguous road, city, etc.

stevie i dunno for sure but that SEEMS right? I think that's why it's hella cheap and then gonna get more expensive: it's like an expansion for the hardcore and then they'll phase out sf iv entirely.

i think they added new characters too, and i'm guessing that volt will get all of those upcoming updates now. Also, Volt requires iOS 4 and up, so the game probably takes advantage of the hardware better.

I'm playing that new keyboard replacement and a new task killer

Had a go of coin drop this morning. Really enjoyed the space level. Then the jungle level kicked off and... Rescue the girl coins? Piss off, seriously, piss all the way off. Agh.

Sword sorcery ep is pretty great! Like others said, it's not so much of a "game" but it's lovely to walk around the world. The music when you awaken the dark lord of evil (or whatever the tall devil dude is called) is fucking awesome.

and pocket god. i gotta say the 99cent model makes impulse buying difficult to stop.

It's wonderful. Compared to how much these games would cost on a console. And I get just as much enjoyment out of them.

what are the best kairosoft games? i don't anything about them. and forks, once you're done with those i'd be happy to get some recommendations! i'll probably be finishing up swords and sorcery ep soon and i'm looking for a follow-up game.

I couldn't figure out how to get started on Pocket Academy. Hot Springs Story was easier for me to get a hang of.

I don't really think it's meant to be played more than twice, to be honest. Once to figure it out and once to get it right.

yep. i played it through one 20 year cycle, then deleted it. no regrets, i got way more than 99 cents of enjoyment out of it!

GDS is awesome(see our thread) due to the ability to be rewarded for ultimate levels of profanity and screenshots

just started an hour ago, so only at 5th floor. any tips for newbs?

yeah, don't spend your bucks on ANYTHING but elevators and paying people to live in your apartments unless you plan on actually paying money for the game. Those are the two necessities.
it's a clever game: the only thing you need to pay for is for the game to move faster
play it in two minute stints six to eight times a day and you'll be happy. Don't get trapped staring at it or you're gonna end up buying BUX

this game would be way cooler if you could rename businesses + ppl

I got up to 20 floors and then deleted the game. I disagree about paying people to live in your apartments. I save up my bux to buy money in the largest increment.

It doesn't seem like having good employees really makes a huge difference.

Nothing makes a huge difference because it's dull. Solitaire is better. This is just.... annoying. Deleted it after about fifteen floors or so. Could not see the point in continuing at all.
