I watched this anime called "Dead Leaves" that is 30% terrible and 70% amazing. Wish it had been in Japanese instead of dubbed.

senna was good, but im not that knowledgeable about f1. loved the 80s footage of ppl driving smooth lines through the tracks and then seeing senna going round with the car skittering everywhere because he could get THAT close to completely out of control.

Yeah I also don't know shit about F1 so I don't know how accurate that was, but he sure did seem to drive in a very loose way, especially when it rained.

the 84 sequence when he went from waay back to second in the rain was great.

the "who was your greatest real or imagined opponent" was rosebud-y but pretty effective

xp i agree abt senna, also know v little abt formula 1, but there is SO MUCH great footage & he himself seems actually humble & likeable & makes the ensuing, known end that much more impactful/dramatic/classically tragic that i sorta feel like the doc is such a slam dunk, im more thankful it wasnt somehow horribly f'd up than thinking it is partic amazing

Iron Sky is brilliant fun, I bought the DVD some time ago. Laibach soundtrack too.

Watching Roy Orbison: Black & White Night before it expires. Lots of musical guest stars in the band that maybe you can take or leave but more importantly he's got Elvis's Vegas-era backing band.

Also does some material by the other Elvis, which wasn't too bad actually.
