Don't see any prima facie reason why there shouldn't be a market for this - a tutorial type app for musicians that they can use their own instruments with is v different to a game for gamers that requires new expensive peripherals.

Just did the demo for BG&E and the camera makes so ill that I don't think I can do it :(

Full House Poker is pretty solid for a $10 game! No reason to buy it if you don't enjoy playing poker, but if you do ...

I haven't played Blur yet but Split / Second is awwwwsome, a proper sequel to Burnout 3 but with MORE MASSIVE EXPLOSIONS, like, you trigger air traffic control towers to explode and fall down on the track, and make cranes spin around & drop trucks on your enemies. It's ludicrous---and with split screen local multiplay which is fab b/c you can drop trucks on your friends & laugh fiendishly & yes it is great

does seem odd that 4/5 years into the life of the console, and 3 years since the launch of the app store, with all the infrastructure in place... they still don't let you download ~apps~ to the console other than some lameo facebook/twitter/last.fm apps.

I dl'ed the hulu thing, but it wanted me to register & I was like, can't you just use my stupid xbla registration? plus, isn't it just a way to watch tv shows? I dunno, the layout seemed fine to me, about the same as the espn3 one. I didn't really check what shows it had b/c I don't know anything about tv, but I was curious to see what it was. dunno why they're charging $8 a month for it with advertising! can't imagine it'll be a big hit at that cost.

Apparently the thing with iplayer is that MS won't give anything at all to non-gold members, but the BBC aren't allowed to have a UK version of iplayer that's stuck behind a paywall.

I hit up a friend who gave me his hulu plu login for my ipad, it's worth it for the criterion

Eurogamer liked El Shaddai a lot, and suggested that the game is much more varied than the demo would suggest.

Backbreaker Vengeance is a lot of fun.

Child of Eden is nice but I don't think I would buy it full price, and definitely not a reason to get a Kinect.
