OTOH, AAaaaa-etc. A Reckless Disregard for Gravity goes for $2.50 today, the price point I was in fact waiting around for this whole time

Nhex, Thursday, 9 December 2010 02:58 (fifteen years ago)

I just added a bunch of folks from the ILG group; I'm in as trdn89.

FART MAGNET STUDIOS IS SCREWING US AGAIN!!!1!1!!!1!! (jamescobo), Thursday, 9 December 2010 03:26 (fifteen years ago)

is evil genius worth 2.50?

Indian Food 2 Electric Vindaloo (forksclovetofu), Friday, 10 December 2010 13:51 (fifteen years ago)

any thoughts on Droplitz or MTG? i haven't played the card game in over 15 years bear in mind

Nhex, Friday, 10 December 2010 23:21 (fifteen years ago)

got Droplitz; it was OK, probably just worth the price. Gonna pick up Shatter @ $2.50.

Nhex, Sunday, 12 December 2010 19:11 (fifteen years ago)

apparently you can't customize the decks in MTG so the hell with it. grabbing Shatter though!

FART MAGNET STUDIOS IS SCREWING US AGAIN!!!1!1!!!1!! (jamescobo), Sunday, 12 December 2010 20:26 (fifteen years ago)

whoa, the awesome soundtrack for Shatter is only $1 until... a few more hours?

zappi, Tuesday, 14 December 2010 17:55 (fifteen years ago)

oh yeh & Valve gave away keys recently for the first bundle, so you can add the games for free to your Steam. hopefully this happens again with this bundle.

zappi, Tuesday, 14 December 2010 18:00 (fifteen years ago)

totally getting that bundle just for Braid, and Machinarium is pretty slick too.

Nhex, Tuesday, 14 December 2010 18:36 (fifteen years ago)

Osmos is well regarded but I haven't tried it yet.

I Am Kurious Assange (polyphonic), Tuesday, 14 December 2010 18:37 (fifteen years ago)

Ahhh I just bought Braid! Still looks pretty cool.

moiré eel (a passing spacecadet), Tuesday, 14 December 2010 19:25 (fifteen years ago)

Osmos features "sublime electronic soundtrack by Loscil, Gas/High Skies, Julien Neto, Biosphere, and more"? Why, I guess I am sold, then. Click!

moiré eel (a passing spacecadet), Tuesday, 14 December 2010 19:32 (fifteen years ago)

looks like it's time for my yearly transformation into James Cobo, Hater Of Stupid-Ass Braid

FART MAGNET STUDIOS IS SCREWING US AGAIN!!!1!1!!!1!! (jamescobo), Wednesday, 15 December 2010 18:28 (fifteen years ago)

So crazy

I Am Kurious Assange (polyphonic), Wednesday, 15 December 2010 18:40 (fifteen years ago)

Osmos is a great gaming experience and the soundtrack rocks (in an extremely ambient way of course)

groovypanda, Wednesday, 15 December 2010 19:13 (fifteen years ago)

A lot more indie packs for the upcoming holiday sale got "leaked" on CAG again, though the poster was annoyed that someone reposted the info on the official Steam forums *forehead palm*, for anyone who is interested, you should be able to find it pretty easily in the forum. All I gotta say is... potato?

Nhex, Saturday, 18 December 2010 16:17 (fifteen years ago)

Does anyone know of a way I can check to see if my Mac can run Civ V smoothly before I drop the cash and buy it?

Mordy, Saturday, 18 December 2010 16:20 (fifteen years ago)

another pay what you want thingy

http://groupees.yawma.net/gr8

currently Max and the Magic Marker + an indie album

a nan, a bal, an anal ― (abanana), Saturday, 18 December 2010 16:25 (fifteen years ago)

is that Girl Talk album tomorrow? hah

Nhex, Saturday, 18 December 2010 16:56 (fifteen years ago)

Mordy, what video card is in your Mac? The min spec for Civ V is a Radeon 2600/GeForce 8600. If you have Intel, forget it.

Nhex, Saturday, 18 December 2010 16:58 (fifteen years ago)

the potato thing sounds insane

I spilled, saucer-eyed, into the Tonetta fanclub underground. (forksclovetofu), Saturday, 18 December 2010 17:02 (fifteen years ago)

xp to Nhex, I have a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M -- do you think it'll run okay?

Mordy, Saturday, 18 December 2010 20:54 (fifteen years ago)

it might, but I'm a little skeptical. it may still run but you'll definitely have to lower resolution, details, etc. which may or may not matter in a game like Civ

oh yeah for you oddworld fans, the oddbox is gonna be 50% off on the first day of the steam sale, so probably like $12.50
