I can only wish for that board-clear bonus. Every time I get close to it, with only a few numbers left, they're always gray disks that happened to be high numbers.
Also, I can only dream of this : clear the board, get a 1 afterwards and you're up 140k points! Always a good way to start your game.

ya although i find it a more sophisticated pleasure when it's like a 2 or 3 or 4, because they only work in that one specific row, whereas a 7 can deliver that anywhere

just pulled off a 12x chain! not sure how I feel about going for combos. even at 12x each disc was only giving me like 2-3000 points. a level up is 17000. feel like if you want a high score in hardcore you just gotta go for pure survival, chains be fucked. can be a good way to start off a game though if you get a right distribution of discs

and chains just mean more numbers destroyed, so it's all good

then proceeded to have a really terrible game

never gotten a board clear ;_;

ever since I started learning to think & build horizontally I've been big timing my games

raised my average by 5k in just a few days

psyched, considering wiping the board and starting clean just to have a more realistic average score reflected

this game is driving me insane. like these past few days, every time i go to bed i can't sleep because as soon as i close my eyes, all i can see is a game of drop7 going on. this is the first time in a loooong time that a game has gotten under my skin this much but shit, it really is that good. feel kind of sad as well as relieved that there is no stat about how much time you've spent playing the game, like there is in orbital for eg, because i'd be curious to see how much time i've spent on it.

im starting to resent games that don't keep an average score, it's so much more interesting to me than high score

jibe I have the same problem. except once I see flashes of drop 7 moves I have to debunk them "no that wouldnt happen because if a 4 drops down to the next row and then goes away it would have done that already blah blah crazy bullshit.."

also, same as you slocki, i really hate those games that drop my average. that may also be a consequence of me having a hard time racking up huge scores (only one in the 500k range, 4 or 5 in the 400k range) yet consistently getting 280-300k scores. so i'm consistently average, never brilliant. that reads like some of my report cards :D

Ive brought my avg up to 210k but all those games spent screwing around kind of make it hard to move it higher. And also makes me not feel bad about ragequitting games where I got pwned by 1s and 2s at the top.

3 on a spire is usually dealable

4 or 5 on a spire (above their respective stations) is a nightmare

worst feeling tho is a 3 on a spire and you're like "ok, i got this" and then every disk they gave you is exactly not what you want.
