bear in mind that the puzzle agent and sam and max games DO NOT COME WITH THAT BUNDLE or at least not until they unlock some 10,000 bundles sold.
So please buy one of 5000 of these so i can play sam and max soon.

Dear GOG users,

We have recently had to give serious thought to whether we could really keep GOG.com the way it is. We've debated on it for quite some time and, unfortunately, we've decided that GOG.com simply cannot remain in its current form.

We're very grateful for all support we've received from all of you in the past two years. Working on GOG.com was a great adventure for all of us and an unforgettable journey to the past, through the long and wonderful history of PC gaming.

This doesn't mean the idea behind GOG.com is gone forever. We're closing down the service and putting this era behind us as new challenges await.

On a technical note, this week we'll put in place a solution to allow everyone to re-download their games. Stay tuned to this page and follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates.

All the best,
GOG.com Team

bit of a lame stunt, though the public overreaction is also too much. the internet will forgive them if they manage to get Planescape: Torment up, though

been wanting to play it forever.

Numen ($2) and DogFighter ($1.50) are super cheap right now on steam - anyone know if these are a waste of time?

Nhex, Tuesday, 26 October 2010 06:20 (thirteen years ago) link

Titan Quest Gold for $5 on Steam today. Just started playing it last week, fairly decent Diablo-type. Seems to be crazy huge, lots of character building and skill options compared to Torchlight, but also feels a little more generic, though I like the Greek theme.

Nhex, Tuesday, 26 October 2010 18:32 (thirteen years ago) link

Any opinions of Puzzle Dimension? $5 on steam

also

Tempted to get in on Nation Red and Zombie Driver, but they'll probably both be on sale again at some point. I think I'll finally bite on PvZ.

cozen, Wednesday, 3 November 2010 22:06 (thirteen years ago) link

Cozen: Unfortunately the GMA 950 video you have is just below the cut-off for Mac Torchlight requirements, though it does support it in Windows. Also, there are supposedly issues with the card drivers if you're not using 10.6 on it.

JimD, Sunday, 21 November 2010 11:25 (thirteen years ago) link

AoE 3 for 10 cents is ridiculous, that's the amazing side of DLC no doubt

mo loko (cozen), Sunday, 21 November 2010 13:09 (thirteen years ago) link

you can also get it for 10MS points on GFWL

mo loko (cozen), Sunday, 21 November 2010 13:10 (thirteen years ago) link

if the point was to get me to download the games for windows client, it worked.

old LOKO heads (forksclovetofu), Sunday, 21 November 2010 14:19 (thirteen years ago) link

oh, i see, there's also an updated terms of use that probably reflects evil shit alterations to how they can fuck you over with MS points and XBox Lilve and waives kinect spying so that microsoft can watch you jerk off in front of the tv. Fair trade!

old LOKO heads (forksclovetofu), Sunday, 21 November 2010 14:25 (thirteen years ago) link

JimD it's actually $6.99 to buy just one game.

my sex drew back into itself tight and dry (abanana), Sunday, 21 November 2010 16:00 (thirteen years ago) link

o yeh.

JimD, Sunday, 21 November 2010 20:51 (thirteen years ago) link

I'm not even an RTS fan but for 10 cents, why not

Nhex, Sunday, 21 November 2010 21:20 (thirteen years ago) link

well cuz it's not installing would be my answer
microsoft customer service not being real helpful

old LOKO heads (forksclovetofu), Sunday, 21 November 2010 21:37 (thirteen years ago) link

The last thing I needed was another game, but I am not passing up AoE3 for 10 cents. Absurd.

If the point of putting a game on sale is to sell your service, GoD is doing a very, very bad job of that today! No product keys for almost everyone who tried to download AoE3 today.

macaroni rascal (polyphonic), Monday, 22 November 2010 02:24 (thirteen years ago) link

Games for Windows, rather. No idea what GoD is. lol

macaroni rascal (polyphonic), Monday, 22 November 2010 02:28 (thirteen years ago) link

There is no GoD.
