of this selection, it's gotta be eddie

I love and have been impressed by everyone on this list at one time or another this year, but I had to go with the DMD. I feel like she's really finally come into her own this year, and finally capturing the title, as well as having her own sort of mini-stable has really helped. Eddie Kingston is a great choice, for sure, but I feel like Britt grew more this year, whereas Eddie was just as excellent and real as he's always been.

i totally acknowledge your argument for britt, it's a very good one, but while eddie has maintained being eddie, he added so much to the promotion since he joined
ofc he joined in 2020 so maybe there's a better argument for him last year

Yeah, it's hard trying to separate 2020 from 2021, since it's all felt like one long year for me. I've had to look up the accomplishments that I was thinking of to check to see if I could really claim it as 2021.
Miro is such a solid performer. I've been a big fan of him since the first time I saw him in the 2014 Royal Rumble. Allowing him to stand on his own without having a manager cut his promos is such a great idea, because he's just gold.

Yeah I voted Miro tbh, the absolute poster child for the guy that seemed like he'd be a home run if he was booked properly and allowed to be himself AND IT WAS TRUE
the most convincing deranged tough guy promo since prime Joe
