the 4th one should be 'adverb'

a. cole, u thic (acoleuthic), Wednesday, 2 December 2009 14:17 (nine years ago) Permalink

hence,

poster, banning, ILTMI, very, poppagey, court, restraint, Marc Loi, liberating, medals, smelly, cheese, deleted, thread, enjoyable, lurid, improper, nonsense (last one should be a noun)

a. cole, u thic (acoleuthic), Wednesday, 2 December 2009 14:25 (nine years ago) Permalink

I was hoping you would contribute to this thread.

sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 16:07 (nine years ago) Permalink

I enjoyed that!

Gravel Puzzleworth, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 16:11 (nine years ago) Permalink

everyone can do it - everyone can fill in the blanks their own way!

sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 16:33 (nine years ago) Permalink

ass, merchandising, chinchilla, frothing, purple, advocating, checks, Gertrude Stein, sloshy, night, natural, stooge, influential, fruit, counted, virus, new, airborne, sketchy, intermediate

sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:08 (nine years ago) Permalink

u did it rong

a. cole, u thic (acoleuthic), Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:12 (nine years ago) Permalink

how?

sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:13 (nine years ago) Permalink

try and put them in!

a. cole, u thic (acoleuthic), Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:38 (nine years ago) Permalink

have you never done madlibs before?

sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:44 (nine years ago) Permalink

I think it's "checks." The tense doesn't make sense.

bamcquern, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:46 (nine years ago) Permalink

Yeah, but the concept of madlibs is that you just pick a word based on part of speech - tenses don't matter, so plenty of times, the sentences aren't grammatically correct.

sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:47 (nine years ago) Permalink

Tenses matter!

bamcquern, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:48 (nine years ago) Permalink

They'll even say "past tense" and stuff like that. I think they do, anyway.

bamcquern, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:48 (nine years ago) Permalink

checks is a noun - like in that I love style thread!

sarahel, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:49 (nine years ago) Permalink

there are two too many - it falls out of synch - i think "sloshy, night, natural, stooge, influential, fruit" needs to have one pair removed - ie 4 words rather than 6

a. cole, u thic (acoleuthic), Wednesday, 2 December 2009 23:49 (nine years ago) Permalink

Oh, I missed a word. I put it in the verb spot.
