I should have been clearing out these cupboards, but I've been listening to all these tracks instead. I love how there's absolutely no compromise made to the listener at all, no attempt to make the music. Some might label the music as incompetent, but it reminds me of Trout Mask Replica - this is is music that's deliberately been made this way.

Serious staying power. It walks this thin line between "Serious Feminist Performance Art" and "just some people fucking around, fucking chill, don't take it too seriously already" that makes me love both sides even more. Which may be an obvious thing to say.

I like the way that on first viewing the video seems to be just random stuff, but with every repeat it seems more and more that every single thing in there has been put there deliberately.

Still listening to this band a lot. Finally relented and bought the album from bandcamp. I have a lot of love for 'Motel 6', which has an awesome video also, and 'Slowly'. I enjoy the noisy chaotic elements but I think it's their pop suss I adore most about them. Especially when it shouldn't quite fit but does e.g. the 'Shit and blood' refrain. Oh and yeah they should definitely do some shows in the UK if possible.
