burger > pizza > hot dog

I voted.

pizza because it's pizza, but also because a veggie pizza is usually about 1000x better than a veggie burger or dog.

Eat it cold, eat it hot, eat it with meat, eat it with veggies, eat it with no toppings, breakfast, lunch, dinner, one slice, two slice, three slice, knife and fork, paper plate, while you walk, and when pizza's on a bagel, you can have pizza any time

naw dude there are some WACK burgers and cici's is gross but not THAT gross, you would eat a cici's pizza and be proud if someone brought one to a party or something

hot dogs may have the lowest ceiling of these but i think they also have the highest floor. it's possible to make a truly vile pizza or burger but hot dogs are made in a factory so you can't really change them much on the base level

burger w/ caramelized onions on it is pretty much gastronomic divinity

burger > pizza > (burrito) > hot dog, but the gap from 1 to 4 is not huge if all 4 are good quality

my local bodega makes this cheeseburger pizza where they put, i think, little paddies of ground beef onto a pizza and cheese on top of that (burger cheese)

the biggest thing I miss about the pizza place I worked in during senior year of high school was their amazing taco pizza, which used refried beans instead of marinara sauce and the most amazingly seasoned ground beef

after it came out of the oven, it was garnished with tortilla chips, lettuce, shredded cheese, olives and salsa

That's on special occasions like the Queen's birthday and Bank Holidays.

I think the secret to a good Mexican pizza is limiting the number of ingredients that go into the pizza oven; IIRC we baked it with refried beans, hamburger, onion and two types of cheese (mozzarella, cheddar) and added other toppings on top, really making it a taco/nachos hybrid

burgers and hot dogs are great but yes it's pizza. Also I'm getting bored by every aspirational restaurant having some half assed attempt at a high end burger bc it's usually weak.

i was really apprehensive about adding pepperoni to the fresh mo but my friend sold me on it. not sorry about it

yeah i support the simple pizza principle though maybe not that extreme. plain cheese is good, single topping is good too. double topping is a grey area, and anything more than that no longer prompts Pizza Excitement

xps I'm the opposite, I've got to have stuff crust/burger crust, crazy toppings, loaded down with stuff.

critical topping mass is when too many toppings make crust soggy imo

it's fresh mozzarella slices used in lieu of the regular shredded mozzarella

yea the mozz is baked but i think on normal pies they use like the processed mozz, you know? and on fresh mozz it's fresh

The most important ingredients are the Prosciutto Crudo and the Gorgonzola. If those two are okay, then you can build from there.

I am eating pizza right now

i had pizza for lunch and in lieu of anything else i'm pondering leftover pizza for dinner.

i went to a baseball game yesterday and at halftime they had a race between mascot-style costumed dudes representing a bag of popcorn, a slice of pizza, and a hotdog. some kid near me was screaming "go pizza!!!!" before they even began racing. popcorn knocked pizza to the ground, causing him to lose the race. we left the game immediately. i feel like pizza has been avenged today.
