Oh. No shit? He and Calvin Johnson djed this birthday party on a hill/field in Maryville and I think Ian was hitting on girls, and they were both very good dancers. And totally my kind of DJs. Calvin went from Dancehall to punky to leftfield vintage disco with burps of miscellaneous tunes all throughout.

Oh. Hm. This was just some girl's birthday, and they were friends with her. I remember going to this party and there was this classic indie irony fuq, Harold, with trucker cap and shit, and I asked, all excited and earnest, "Do you think it's real? Do you think it's really going to happen?" And he said, "I don't care," or something. And later that night I called him out, I said, "I know sometimes it's hard to communicate with people, I have trouble too, but are you just rude, is it a put on, or are you just awkward, or what is going on, Harold?"
And really the party was low-key because no one wanted to drive to Maryville, I guess.
But what's you're CJ story? He seems like a nice dude.
