"It is illegal in the US to produce a children's toy that precisely resembles a real gun, but the laws do not explicitly prevent manufacturers from making a gun that resembles a toy."kind of amazing this horrible niche market has not been explored previously. sigh....

was randomly thinking about the Olympics while half asleep in the shower and was imagining a sport that combines skateboarding and archery. It would be a team sport with two teams of skateboarding archers going against each other. The idea needs some work but I think there's an interesting spectator sport in there.

A t-shirt company that designs and sells shirts for bands that don't actually exist. Some have tour dates on the back at non-existent venues (in real cities). Done in a deadpan manner, no overt satire of anything.
This might actually be a good idea, not sure.

only worth it if paired with a trolly experiment at a metal show where dude walks by and waits for people to brag that they saw that band on their first tour or own their first demo and then expose them as posers on camera.
the show could be called

A Twitter account or blog or something, slowly telling the story of an alternate universe in which the WWF's "Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection" was instead the "Jazz 'n' Wrestling Connection". This is based entirely around the idea that Keith Jarrett vs. Chick Corea would be a great Intercontinental Title feud.

i have a strange affection for the kind of jobs that a kid would be interested in. railroad engineer. tugboat captain (i believe "master of towing" is the title) and will actively look into how i would go about getting those jobs, and then never pursue them. i could be using that time to look for realistic ways to advance in my current field of work but don't

this is a real terrible idea, but it hasn't happened yet
eventually, the "expanded universes" of star wars / marvel et al will become so expanded that it will be viable for everyone on earth to "live" there through VR or the matrix or whatever. the star wars real world will be filled with NPCs to talk to and beautiful locations, as well "living storylines" of empire/rebellion factions. literally everyone on earth will be somewhere in the star wars world, several generations departed from earth.
