Ohhh Saturday I saw a girl wearing a jersey sundress with a black top and an open back, and she was wearing a white bra. TACKY.

Bra on backwards and then turn around, and what always wears out on mine is the elastic in the band. Have never "popped" a strap, altho occasionally pop a wire, which will then poke me every time I breathe until I give up and throw it away.

I remember watching one of my cousins try to hook her bra behind her and feeling really sorry for her that she didn't grow up w a mom who would get dressed while you watched, so you could see how grown-up women did things. (I spent a lot of my childhood aspiring to need a bra and understand perfume and to have heels that went tappy tappy on the wooden floors like my mom's velvet Florsheim concert shoes.)

Does Florsheim make any women's shoes anymore? Their store at Herald Sq only carries men's and the website suggests "no". How sad.

I have not much boobage so the only time I throw away bras is when they wear out or become dingy through multiple washes. I used to remove the wire from the underwire almost at moment of purchase.

Really? Man, I love underwires.

I always hook mine from behind! I've never done the front flip it around thing.

I guess the underwire used to really YEOWCH so I avoided it. On Tuesday I handled those silicon 'chicken fillets', which despite having the same bra size since first time I read 'Are You There God, It's Me Margaret' and thus in theoretical need, I found EWWWWWW and would never use.

They call them chicken cutlets here which always grosses me out everytime I heaar it.

It was even LOLweirder to know that in 2009 the cutlets are only Caucasian and manufacturers don't make them to blend against black skin.

i once got this strapless bra that like, adheres to your boobs - no band... it just sticks on and then you clasp in the front middle to make cleavage? i didn't end up using it because i found a different one for the dress, but i still have it. i am scared of it. anyway, the cups were sort of like those cutlets.

Can we just agree that putting silicone right up against your skin to give you fake tits is gross? And handling it is even grosser?

um, white tuna is like my favorite of all the sashimis but i don't think it is that color.

I can agree with that ... I also find the concept of putting white tuna sushi against your skin in the quest for bigger boobage = gross.

xp there's some sashimi - I think it's nigiri - that is that color.

the difference in color makes me think one place is frontin' on the authenticity of their white tuna.

or is there really that much variance in color in the same fish?

i dont get who girls that buy these are trying to fool. i mean if its to snag a guy im assuming hes going to be v disappointed at some point.

I think I am going to get chicken cutlet salad tomorrow for dinner.

i'm gonna get some sushi at the whole foods ... or at least wander around for half an hour hunting free samples and enjoying the air conditioning.

Hi there. I am feeling extra girly today because I am carrying around a bunch of PREMARIN samples in my purse after a visit to the gyn. To be on both BCP and HRT seems kinda o_O but gyn says it could help with the estrogen-deprivation headaches.
