just looking at this thread wistfully late at night, musing over my failure to dude. there are times when i almost pass, looking at old pictures. here i am sipping an oyster. here i am hunched over an old rally-x machine. here i am with eyes closed, showing off my magnificently voluminous arm hair. the arm hair, that was one of the most "dude" things i had going for me. here i am reading the sunday paper in 2010. here i am staring down a pork roll sandwich.
but interspersed among those few are so, so many pictures where i just fail. where i just come off as someone who doesn't know what they're supposed to do with their body.
i don't know. maybe i'm just reading things into the past that weren't there. there are those few pictures, though. the ones with food. or games. or arm hair.
