I was listening to music on shuffle while with my kids and suddenly Lana Del Rey's "Fucked my way to the top" started playing. I started imagining a slightly more kid friendly version of this song called "Hugged my way to the top".

A series of NFL-themed all-male bukkake films called MAN COVERAGE where the receiver wears one team's uniform and the 11 ejaculators all wear an another team's.
My combinatronics math is not good but I feel like there would be an astronomical number of pairings of teams (32!, perhaps? that doesn't seem right).

I was sitting on the bus this morning, and as well as it being equipped with CCTV, it also had a screen showing the image from each CCTV camera in sequence. Terrible idea: a Chatroulette style link up where the screen shows images from cameras in other buses.

I don't know if there's a better thread for this, but I was just thinking it would be cool if some band convinced Goldman Sachs to let them shoot a band photo in their offices (instead of another boring "gritty" location shot), and then I took it a step further and thought, why not just have Lloyd Blankfein in the photo, as though he's in the band, but not dressed any differently than he normally would or posing like a rock star, just Lloyd Blankfein in his suit, standing naturally.

Band-management simulation game where you play the role of an industry hack trying to steer an ambitious but under-talented 80s ballad-rocker through the stormy seas of the 1990s. Will he go grunge? Settle down into an adult-contemporary role? Collaborate with positive-minded rappers? You'll decide in... Command Winger!

I had the vapephone terrible idea a couple of months back and all of my (two) vaping friends said they would buy one.
The thing that's really terrible about it is that phone batteries barely last the day as it is without you also using them to boil nicotine (or whatever the fuck ecigs do).

skimming the wiki, i guess tommy, his mom, and her parents (the grandpa/grandma characters) are jewish, and the rest of the cast aren't?
Chuckie, his father Chas and the DeVille twins, Phil and Lil, meanwhile, were portrayed as nonreligious yet inclusive and enthused to learn about the customs of the holiday.
i've also read some pretty interesting stuff that makes a strong case that betty boop is jewish; there are lots of hebrew-language jokes (like, hebrew letters and words appearing onscreen), and one of her early shorts revolves around having uptight immigrant parents who don't support betty's boopish lifestyle, and they are rendered pretty clearly as eastern european jews. i realize this does not really pass the "stuff my daughters would watch" test.
― Doctor Casino, Sunday, 22 November 2015 09:39 (ten years ago)
see Holberg, Amelia. "Betty Boop: Yiddish Film Star."American Jewish History. no. 4 (1999): 291-312. the cartoon i was thinking of is "minnie the moocher" (indeed with cab calloway, and a great short).

i think i realized tnite what led ben carson to make his comments about the pyramids being grain silos. he probably believes the common misconception that the jews built the pyramids. in the OT it says that the jewish slaves built the cities of pithom and ramses which various commentators describe as storehouse cities. is it giving him too much credit to think he probably conflated this misconception w/ this [ime] popular bible translation?
