i sorta like the cosplay ones, not because ho ho ho lol star wars photo but because in the case of the oversized helmets one it seems like an attempt to make an end run around the expectations of doing these stupid photos at all, like, nope, we're not gonna give you soft-focus photos of us wearing three times as much makeup as we ever do and a hairstyle we never wear otherwise, etc. i mean the people might or might not be dorks but it comes from a different place than "behold, our soft-focused love is so unique"
