i think the saddest part about these cakes is not that the people are too stupid to get contextual clues from a note, but are actually so beaten down and broken by their cake-making jobs that they just robotically throw whatever on without thinking.
this one is extra sad because you know the people who wanted it were not only NICE people but people who really wanted the cake at a certain time

It's actually W. Neil Berrett holding the cake in the picture. I'm kind of disappointed, I'd been hoping that the guy was from the cake shop and was delivering the cake, and that the words on it were more like "shove yer feckin' job, w***er!". Because if I were ever to resign by cake, that's what I'd do. I guess that it just goes to show that not everyone in the world is as misanthropic as I am obviously.
