Badger badger badger badger

...or something like that.

A t-shirt with a picture of Foghorn Leghorn dressed as Jules from Pulp Fiction, with the words 'BAD MOTHER CLUCKER' at the bottom.

slamming on the dubstep brakes (snoball), Friday, 9 August 2013 11:59 (ten years ago) link

That sounds like a pretty strong money-making idea, even if it would have been more viable 18 years ago when Pulp Fiction and Looney Tune t-shirts were both flying high. I still think you'd move a few at state fairs, etc. If you could get the Foghorn Leghorn to not exactly look like a copyrighted character you could probably get them into Hot Topics or Spencer's or whatever mainstream outlet it is that sells crap like that to 15-year-olds.

Doctor Casino, Friday, 9 August 2013 14:05 (ten years ago) link

Foghorn Leghorn/Jackson would definitely be making the Dreamworks Face though.

ugh, the other day i had the terrible idea of illustrating/animating the true story of the Sound of Music which would pick up where the film ends, detailing the tragic journey of the von Trapp family as they cross over the Alps on their way to Switzerland. but while i was looking up information about the end of the film so i could make a nice segue, i found that someone already had the same terrible idea in 2008 - http://gratzindustries.blogspot.com/2008/11/alternate-endings-sound-of-music.html. now it is a terrible, unoriginal idea

A right of passage for my future sons inspired by the bullet ant gloves of the Sateré-Mawé tribe. When our cat is sleeping under the ikea lounger, the participant must place his arm underneath the chair and make contact with the cats belly. If he withdraws his hand before 15 seconds has passed, no ice cream after dinner.

A reality show called "Raffi is Rich" chronicling the opulent lifestyle of megastar child singer Raffi.

#fomo that's the motto (Hurting 2), Monday, 26 August 2013 13:58 (ten years ago) link

That would be great, especially if his life is totally drama free and just sort of pleasant and kid-friendly. He could really age into being a new Mister Rogers. (Before I get jumped on, not saying he is in the same league, just that there is a dearth of such programming these days.)

Doctor Casino, Monday, 26 August 2013 22:13 (ten years ago) link

yeah I was kind of picturing it being perverse and decadent. It all came out of a conversation in which it suddenly hit me "Wait a minute, this guy must have a BOATLOAD of money." Every parent in America has been buying his records for decades. Or maybe only in blue state land, idk, he's a little on the liberal side, but still. And I was just thinking it would be funny if Raffi is out there somewhere pulling up to chicks at the stoplight in his ferari, dropping lines like "Hey, you ever see a llama eating his pajamas?" And the thing is, Raffi can show you, because he has a whole herd of llamas at his ranch.

I was thinking today how if I were in the field of genetic engineering I would put 100% of my resources towards developing a creature that lives for 1000 years yet does nothing but constantly vomit and feel pain

if we could figure out how to get the earth to rotate around the sun 10-20 times faster (can't be that hard), maybe we could make all of that happen without genetic engineering
