Dodgeball was great, and Tropic Thunder isn't quite as good. Pete Scholtes OTM!

Tuomas, Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:06 (seventeen years ago)

I mean, any day you have 2 sandwiches is bound to be a day of insanity. (xp)

Kevin K.: Pete Scholtes is a damn good music writer who has been around here a for a fuck of a lot longer than you have.

The Reverend, Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:39 (seventeen years ago)

um i think kevin k was agreeing with pete scholtes

max, Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:39 (seventeen years ago)

I don't actually have anything against you eating 1000 sandwiches per day, j0rdan.

Badder Meinhof Syndrome (libcrypt), Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:40 (seventeen years ago)

I mean, if you like them go nuts.

Badder Meinhof Syndrome (libcrypt), Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:40 (seventeen years ago)

Sorry kev, that should have been aimed at j0rdan. Still applies.

The Reverend, Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:40 (seventeen years ago)

My fault, I was reading the thread backwards.

The Reverend, Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:40 (seventeen years ago)

dumb opinion about movies still applies

jordy (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:41 (seventeen years ago)

thanks lib, i don't actually eat that many sandwiches per day but i defend my right to do so

Tracy Michael Jordan Catalano (Jordan), Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:46 (seventeen years ago)

My admitted bald prejudice on the matter is because I am not a regular sandwich eater so it's hard for me to picture regular sandwiching. Not that I mean for the sandwiches to spill over from the corndog fronting bacon thread but it was kinda precarious there anyways.

Badder Meinhof Syndrome (libcrypt), Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:49 (seventeen years ago)

I will make a sandwich for anyone who wants one, just FYI.

Badder Meinhof Syndrome (libcrypt), Wednesday, 28 January 2009 22:49 (seventeen years ago)

The ironic thing is that every time we see Wall-E (or buy merchandise related to it) the money goes to a corporation called Disney. Eat your cake and have it too.

s1ocki, Saturday, 14 February 2009 16:18 (seventeen years ago)

it's not even an eat your cake and have it too situation.

s1ocki, Saturday, 14 February 2009 16:18 (seventeen years ago)

it sort of is because disney then with your money can make even MORE flicks like WALL-E! 8)

If you don't like the simple pleasures of a great pop song, then you should just go back to listening to your hard bop jazz and stfu.

I love it when posts like that diminish pop music or drop it on the bottom end of some stupid dialectic even as they think they're praising it.

if you don't like the simple pleasures of a great shoegazy pfork hype band song, then you should just go back to listening to Strauss waltzes and stfu.

I would much rather listen to hard bop jazz and stfu than enjoy what this guy most likely thinks of as a great pop song.

Great moment in challop history, we were there.

Plaxico (I know, right?), Sunday, 15 February 2009 02:25 (seventeen years ago)

....can anyone still enjoy listening to songs that have become all-time-classic-Dave-Marsh-Heart-Of-Rock-n-Roll-classic-hits-radio classic rock classics? i mean, "I Heard It Thru the Grapevine" or "I can't get no satisfaction", those're actually good songs, right?

That's not very challop-y because it's a question, not even particularly rhetorical, as in, it seems the dude sort of wants an answer, wants to discuss the possibility or impossibility of liking songs one has heard a billion times. Why is that off limits to discuss?

bamcquern, Sunday, 15 February 2009 03:44 (seventeen years ago)

Or, why is it challop-y, I should say.

bamcquern, Sunday, 15 February 2009 03:44 (seventeen years ago)

yeah why IS that challopy dom

lol (roxymuzak), Sunday, 15 February 2009 03:46 (seventeen years ago)

it would be wrong for this to turn into simply "ilm posts we think are retarded"

there is another thread for that

lol (roxymuzak), Sunday, 15 February 2009 03:46 (seventeen years ago)

the stickman just didnt like seeing his name at the end of the thread imo

not that is probably needs to be answered at this point but yes and the challops was from the same thread.
