i dunno whats overrated about it, everyone on ilx likes to talk about how flawed it is so

i think it might have been a bit over-effusively praised especially when it came out and ppl were all like, this is a lock for best picture, and that kind of slight critical exaggeration is kind of ilx contrarian bait

Plus it was down as #1 film on the IMDB 250 for fucking ages, which, correct me if I'm wrong, hunks of shit like In Bruges and Happy-Go-Lucky never were.
