My driver's license says 5'6, but i think i'm actually closer to 5'5.

5'9" and have definitely thought many times that my life would be objectively better if a few inches taller. But you have to shoot the bullets you have in life. Waste of time to obsess on things you can't change.

When all else fails, make a booster chair out of books or pillows.

At an open mic the other night, I had to pull my barstool out to practically the middle of the floor to see past the heads of all the tall people at the bar. Oh, did I say tall people? I meant to say tall ladies. I was told 5'7" was average dude height but I'm not sure I buy it.

I think I was about 5'5" until my junior/senior year of high school, and some part of my brain still expects me to be shorter than most people. So, I feel you, people who are shorter.

yeah same here, i was 5'3" at the end of my sophomore year and came back junior year like 5'7". i'm 6'-6'1" now and still think everyone is taller than me even though in reality i'm at least a few inches over most of them.

I would have guessed Bardem near 6 even!

Bards is reported at 5'11" or 6 ft lots of places online. Not gonna lie tbh, being 6ft tall is pretty f'in cool.

6' to 6'2" seems fairly ideal to me. trust me, anything above that and life becomes needlessly complicated.

I'm 5'11" but by brother is 6'4"-6'5" so everyone thinks I'm quite short. Everyone I've met from the Netherlands is at least 7 feet tall.

I'm comfortable enough being able to hide stuff in the top cabinet while also being able to go up in the McDonalds Playland with my kid when no one else is around.

Dad's 5'7". Mom's barely 5'0". I can't complain about being 182.245 cm tall.

(Even in metric, my height is stupid.)
